Kusum had implored Mangal to give Adit another chance for the sake of her children, suggesting that perhaps calling off the wedding might be the best course of action.
Meanwhile, at Kapil’s home, he busily rummages through his cupboard, packing away items to make space for Mangal after their marriage. Pratima, his mother, walks in and inquires about what he is doing. With excitement in his voice, Kapil explains that he is preparing for Mangal’s arrival, emphasizing that they need to leave soon for the wedding. Pratima, bubbling with enthusiasm, insists there’s still time and playfully makes him wear the pagdi, a traditional headpiece for grooms. She expresses her joy, remarking that once Mangal becomes part of their family, her children won’t be around to disturb their new life together. Kapil hesitates, contemplating whether to tell her that Mangal’s children will indeed be living with them after the wedding. Just as he prepares to speak, Chinta Bua enters the room, interrupting their conversation. She presents Kapil with a beautiful haar (necklace) as a blessing for his upcoming marriage. The sound of thunder rumbles outside, prompting her to comment on the ominous weather. Kapil decides it’s best to wait for the right moment to inform Pratima about Mangal’s children.
Meanwhile, at Adit’s place, a gust of wind threatens to knock over a cherished photograph of Mangal and Adit. Quick on his feet, Adit catches the frame just in time. Kusum enters and asks him what he plans to have for dinner. Adit brushes off her concern, assuring her that he will manage and urges her to attend Mangal’s wedding. Kusum, however, can’t help but wonder if Mangal is truly going through with the wedding today. Just then, Shanti calls Kusum, reminding her to arrive at the mandap on time for Mangal’s ceremony.
Back at the beauty parlour, the beautician is attempting to style Mangal’s hair and apply foundation, but Mangal resists their efforts, feeling overwhelmed. The beautician insists on continuing, but just then, she receives a message from Chinta Bua, which inadvertently causes a power outage in the parlour. With the lights flickering, the beautician tells Mangal to wait until the power returns. Concerned about the time, Shanti instructs Lipika to call Mangal and check on her arrival. Lipika reaches out, and Mangal informs her about the power cut. Lipika urges her to hurry, mentioning that the baarat (groom’s procession) has already started. Mangal agrees to come as soon as possible, while the beautician watches with a suspicious expression.
As the baarat arrives, Shanti and her family prepare to welcome the groom and his family. Chinta Bua, however, has other plans. She thinks to herself that she will not allow this marriage to take place. Shanti instructs Lipika to light the aarti (a ceremonial welcome) for the groom, and Chinta Bua suggests they call Mangal to let her know the baarat has arrived. Shanti hesitates, stating that it’s against tradition, but Chinta Bua argues that such customs are outdated and insists that Lipika call Mangal.
Feeling anxious about the power situation, Mangal decides it’s time to leave the parlour. However, the beautician sprays a substance that causes Mangal to sneeze, insisting that she sit down and wait. Meanwhile, Kapil reassures Shanti that he will meet Mangal only at the mandap, calming her worries. Chinta Bua, with a smirk, anticipates the chaos that will ensue since Mangal is still at the beauty parlour. She discreetly instructs the beautician to lock Mangal inside and prevent her from reaching the mandap.
Unbeknownst to Mangal, Akshat overhears Chinta Bua’s plan and grows increasingly worried for her. He tries to call her, but the beauticians have silenced Mangal’s phone and are distracting her to keep her from leaving. They then exit the parlour, locking Mangal inside, leaving her trapped.
Back at the wedding venue, Akshat is distraught when Mangal doesn’t answer his calls. Determined to help her, he rushes to find Kapil but discovers him preoccupied with guests. Just then, he spots Kusum and Sudesh arriving and runs toward them, but accidentally collides with Chinta Bua. Kusum quickly intervenes, asking if Chinta Bua is alright. Chinta Bua, angered, scolds Akshat and raises her hand as if to strike him. Kusum steps in between them, explaining that Akshat is just a child and didn’t mean to bump into her. After Chinta Bua storms off, Kusum turns to Akshat, noticing his tense demeanor. He struggles to articulate his concerns about Mangal.
Meanwhile, inside the beauty parlour, Mangal realizes that the door is locked and begins to bang on it, desperately trying to escape.
