The episode begins with Mangal urgently banging on the door of a parlour, pleading for someone to let her in. In the midst of the darkness, she frantically searches for her phone. Meanwhile, Kusum notices Akshat appearing stressed and decides to fetch him some water. In a moment of confusion, Akshat mistakenly believes he is holding Kusum’s hand, only to realize that it is actually Bijli who is with him. He confides in her that Chinta Bua has schemed against his mother, intending to lock Mangal in the parlour to prevent her from attending the wedding. Upon recognizing Bijli, Akshat is taken aback.
As Mangal finally locates her phone, she discovers that she has received eight missed calls from Akshat. Back at home, a mirror shatters, and Adit attempts to clean up the mess, injuring his hand in the process. His inner voice taunts him, reminding him that he has lost Mangal and that she is about to marry Kapil. Overwhelmed by despair, Adit shouts in frustration. Guests at the house inquire about Mangal’s whereabouts, prompting Shanti to suggest they enjoy some juice while asking Lipika to call Mangal to find out her location. Lipika informs them that Mangal’s phone is switched off. Chinta Bua then takes Lipika away to introduce her to the guests.
Back with Mangal, Bijli reassures her not to worry and offers to call her mother. However, Akshat, not trusting Bijli, tries to reach out to Kusum. Chinta Bua and Bijli intervene, pulling him aside to keep him hidden from Kusum. As Kusum arrives with water, she searches for Akshat, but Sudesh calls her away, allowing Chinta Bua and Bijli to take Akshat further away.
Mangal, now realizing her phone is off, feels helpless. Meanwhile, Chinta Bua and Bijli manage to cover Akshat’s mouth and confine him in a dark room where a short circuit is taking place. Feeling suffocated, Akshat loses consciousness.
After some time, Akshat regains his senses, removes the tape from his mouth, and is horrified to see sparks flying from exposed electric wires. Mangal, noticing the power is still on outside, searches for the switchboard in the parlour, but the lights remain unresponsive. She cries out for help. Akshat, in a panic, calls for his mother before fainting again. Mangal senses something is terribly wrong and feels a strong intuition that Akshat is in danger. Bijli praises Chinta Bua for successfully keeping Mangal and her son apart, while Chinta Bua smugly notes that Kapil is waiting for Mangal at the mandap, unaware that she will not be arriving. Bijli smiles at the thought. A waiter inadvertently spills water near Akshat’s locked room, and the water begins to flow toward the live wires.
Summoning all her strength, Mangal prays to Devi Maa and shatters the glass of the parlour door to escape. Chinta Bua then informs Bijli that she is ready to proceed with her next plan. She calls Shanti, who, along with her family, approaches Chinta Bua. Chinta Bua insists that Shanti should contact Mangal, as the auspicious time for the wedding is approaching. She inquires if Mangal is prepared, to which Shanti assures her that Mangal will arrive shortly and discreetly instructs Ishana to call her. Ishana replies that her mother’s phone is off. Chinta Bua expresses her discontent at making the groom wait too long. Despite this, Shanti remains confident that Mangal will show up soon. Meanwhile, Mangal, drenched from the rain, races toward the venue, feeling the urgency of Akshat’s peril.
Kapil, growing anxious, questions Chinta Bua about Mangal’s absence, noting that she is usually punctual and hoping that everything is alright. Pratima suggests she should go check on Mangal, but Chinta Bua stops her, asserting that Shanti knows her daughter best. Kusum, on the other hand, is left wondering why Mangal is taking so long to arrive.
