The episode begins with Bua Ji and Pratima urgently calling for Mangal to come to the mandap to marry Kapil. However, Mangal is reluctant to leave, expressing her deep concern for Akshat, who is in a vulnerable state. Chinta Bua, desperate to ensure the marriage takes place, falls at Mangal’s feet, pleading with her to come and marry Kapil. She emphasizes the potential humiliation they would face if Mangal does not comply. Mangal, feeling torn, asks Chinta Bua to understand her situation and the gravity of Akshat’s condition.
As the tension builds, the doctor arrives to check on Akshat. After examining him, he administers an injection and reassures Mangal that Akshat will recover. Despite the doctor’s words, Chinta Bua harbors doubts, believing that Mangal is only concerned about her own family.
Moments later, Akshat regains consciousness, and the atmosphere shifts to one of relief and joy. Overwhelmed with emotion, he hugs Mangal tightly, asking if she is okay. Mangal, touched by his concern, reassures him that she is perfectly fine. Akshat expresses his worry that she might not make it to the wedding venue on time, which prompts Chinta Bua to gesture for him to keep quiet about the unfolding events. She insists that Mangal should come and marry Kapil now that Akshat is awake.
Mangal, still worried, confronts Akshat about why he ventured into a risky room. Akshat explains that he didn’t go there willingly; instead, he reveals that Chinta Bua and Bijli locked him inside. The revelation shocks everyone present. Chinta Bua, caught off guard, tries to deny the accusation, but Akshat insists that he overheard Chinta Bua’s plan to lock Mangal in the parlour, which led to her locking him in the inverter room instead. Kusum, supporting Akshat, mentions that she witnessed Chinta Bua raise her hand against him, reinforcing Akshat’s credibility. However, Chinta Bua continues to argue that Akshat is lying.
Mangal, determined to get to the bottom of the situation, instructs Ishana to take Akshat inside for his rest. Although Akshat is hesitant, Mangal convinces him to comply. Chinta Bua, feeling cornered, urges Kapil to trust her, claiming she has never harmed any child.
The confrontation escalates as Mangal directly questions Chinta Bua about her actions. Chinta Bua feigns innocence, while Kapil attempts to diffuse the situation by suggesting it is merely a misunderstanding and that Chinta Bua could never do something so malicious. However, Mangal stands firm, asserting that Akshat is telling the truth and that the incident clearly indicates a conspiracy at play. She points out that if Kapil believes Chinta Bua, then Kusum might also reconsider her feelings.
Feeling the pressure, Chinta Bua begins to cry, and Kapil comforts her, urging Mangal not to lay blame solely on Bua Dadi because of Akshat’s claims. Mangal counters that Kapil, being Akshat’s best friend, should trust Akshat’s word. She expresses her belief that Chinta Bua does not want the marriage to happen and has ill intentions towards her and her children.
In response, Chinta Bua insists that she wants the marriage to occur, questioning why she would have brought the baarat otherwise. Lipika interjects, challenging Chinta Bua’s motives by asking why she pressured Mangal to marry Kapil when Mangal was late. Mangal then reveals that Chinta Bua was the one who sent her to the parlour, implying that Bua Dadi had ulterior motives to see Kapil marry Lipika instead. This leads to the conclusion that Chinta Bua’s actions were calculated to prevent Mangal from reaching the mandap.
Kapil, taken aback, turns to Pratima, asking if she was aware of Chinta Bua’s intentions regarding Lipika. Chinta Bua tries to defend herself, stating that she only suggested Lipika marry Kapil to preserve their families’ reputations, given that the bride was absent. She sobs, claiming she is being wronged without justification.
Pratima, attempting to mediate, tells Mangal that Bua Dadi’s actions were motivated by a desire to protect the family’s honor and that they can discuss the matter further after the marriage. She reassures Mangal that once the marriage is complete, all their problems will be resolved, as Mangal and her children will come to live with them, allowing the kids to stay with their grandparents. This revelation shocks Mangal, who reminds Kapil of his promise that their children would remain with them after the marriage. She questions the implications of Pratima’s statement, feeling betrayed and uncertain about her future.
In the upcoming scenes, the tension reaches a breaking point as Mangal, feeling that her priorities lie with her children, declares her intention to call off the marriage, emphasizing that her life is dedicated to them. This sets the stage for a dramatic confrontation and potential fallout in the relationships involved.
