As tensions rise, a young boy enters the scene carrying a plate of food for Mangal. However, one of the kidnappers aggressively pushes him away, furious that he has brought food for her. Once the kidnapper leaves, the boy offers the food to Mangal, but she declines to eat, clearly distressed by her situation.
Meanwhile, Adit is in a state of panic as he informs Kusum that Mangal has gone missing from the metro station. Kusum, filled with anxiety, blames Adit for not keeping a closer watch on Mangal. In her worry, she turns to Mata Rani, praying fervently for Mangal’s safety. Adit reassures Kusum, promising her that he will do everything in his power to bring Mangal back home safely and urges her not to cry. Determined to take action, he decides to head to the police station to file a missing person report, and Kusum insists on accompanying him, unwilling to stay behind in such a troubling time.
In another part of the story, Shanti enters Sowmya’s room, puzzled by her absence. Just then, Sowmya emerges from the bathroom, trying to appear nonchalant. However, Shanti confronts her, expressing her suspicion that Sowmya has been out meeting someone and demanding to know the details. Sowmya quickly fabricates a story, claiming she was simply in the washroom, and questions Shanti’s behavior as if she has been following her. Shanti reprimands her and leaves the room, while Sowmya internally reflects on how Mangal has abandoned her mother to spy on her. She secretly hopes that Mangal’s outing turns out to be a disaster.
Back with Mangal, who is tied up, she hears sounds from outside and notices a group of dancers performing nearby. Fearful of making noise, she silently prays to Mata Rani for assistance. Spotting a sharp object within reach, she manages to free herself from her restraints. The boy reappears, offering her a dancer’s costume and encouraging her to escape, mentioning that the police station is close by. Mangal, filled with gratitude, embraces him. Disguised as a dancer, she joins the troupe outside. Meanwhile, the kidnappers are preoccupied with their meal, allowing Mangal the opportunity to attempt her escape. However, one of the kidnappers catches her just as she makes a break for it. In a desperate move, Mangal throws dust into his eyes and flees, with the kidnappers hot on her heels.
At that moment, Adit arrives in the area, searching for Mangal. He spots her and calls out to her joyfully. Mangal races towards him, and as Adit reaches out to embrace her, a kidnapper suddenly shoots Mangal from behind. She collapses to the ground, and chaos ensues as Kusum and the police arrive at the scene. Before losing consciousness, Mangal manages to hand a packet of drugs to the police, identifying her kidnappers in the process. The police swiftly apprehend the kidnappers, while Adit and Kusum rush Mangal to the hospital.
Once at the hospital, Mangal is taken into the ICU for emergency surgery. Later, the doctor emerges, and Adit, filled with anxiety, inquires about her condition. The doctor grimly informs him that Mangal’s condition is critical due to significant blood loss. Overwhelmed by the news, Adit collapses in shock. Kusum, witnessing his distress, asks what the doctor has said.
Meanwhile, Sowmya hears the doorbell and opens the door, only to be taken aback by the unexpected arrival of Paras. She tells him she will speak with him later and hurriedly closes the door as Shanti approaches.
Kusum visits a temple, pouring her heart out in prayer for Mangal’s recovery. Adit joins her, both of them seeking solace in their faith. Back at the hospital, Adit looks through photos of happier times with Mangal on his phone, becoming increasingly emotional. His heart sinks as he watches the medical team administer electric shocks in a desperate attempt to revive her heart. Tragically, the doctor eventually declares that Mangal has passed away, instructing the nurse to note the time of death. Kusum, bewildered, asks what has happened, and Adit, devastated, drops his phone in disbelief as Kusum breaks down into tears.
In the precap, Mangal lies unconscious on a hospital bed. Adit, filled with desperation, pleads with her to wake up, urging her to think about Kusum, Sudesh, and their children. He emotionally questions what will become of him if she does not regain consciousness.
