Adit, realizing the gravity of the situation, informs Shanti about Sowmya’s plan. Shanti urges him to make sure that Sowmya falls asleep early so that her plan can be thwarted.
As night falls, Adit keeps Sowmya engaged in conversation to distract her. Bored and impatient, Sowmya requests ice cream, and Adit obliges, hoping to keep her occupied. Meanwhile, a hooded figure stealthily enters the house, closely observed by Adit. It is later revealed that the figure is Mangal in disguise, who has come to retrieve the documents.
Sowmya receives a message stating that her accomplice cannot come that night due to work, and she shrugs it off, saying it is fine as she is feeling sleepy. Mangal, taking advantage of the situation, searches the house for the documents. Adit, still unaware of her true identity, follows her closely. As Sowmya approaches, both Adit and Mangal quickly hide to avoid being seen. Mangal enters the room, finds the potli, and retrieves the property documents from the cupboard. Just as she is about to make her escape, Sowmya returns, forcing Mangal to hide inside the cupboard, holding her breath as the tension in the room thickens.
