The episode opens with the scene set at a vibrant gathering where the Pandit addresses the devotees. He informs them that there is still time for the Nimarjan ceremony, urging everyone to take this opportunity to express their wishes to Bappa, who will fulfill them one by one. Adit, filled with hope, steps forward and prays earnestly to Bappa, asking him to send his friend Mangal to him so they can dance together, reflecting his desire for joy and connection.
Meanwhile, Kapil is busy reviewing the CCTV footage from the day Adit fell from the terrace, but to his dismay, he discovers that the recording is missing. This revelation sends a wave of anxiety through him as he realizes that without this evidence, he cannot prove that Monisha was responsible for Adit’s fall and not himself. The weight of this situation becomes too much for Pratima, who, upon hearing this news, feels overwhelmed and faints. Kapil rushes to his mother’s side, filled with worry and concern for her well-being.
As the atmosphere shifts, a lively dance troupe takes the stage, performing joyfully. Among them, Mangal arrives and seamlessly joins in the Siddhi Vinayak dance, bringing a sense of celebration to the gathering. However, Sowmya watches in shock, her mind racing with questions about how Mangal managed to escape from the sandook (a traditional wooden chest). Flashbacks reveal that a rat had woken Mangal from her unconscious state, prompting her to regain consciousness and make her escape. Grateful for her unexpected rescue, Mangal silently thanks Bappa for sending the rat to help her.
Back at home, the doctor examines Pratima and prescribes some medications, advising Kapil that she needs to rest to recover fully. He emphasizes the importance of keeping her away from stress, which only adds to Kapil’s worry. After the doctor departs, Kapil reassures Pratima that he hasn’t made any mistakes regarding Adit’s fall. However, Pratima expresses her concern, stating that they lack the proof needed to establish his innocence. Kapil, determined, asserts his faith in Mangal, believing she will ultimately cure Adit and help clear his name.
The Ganesh Nimarjan ceremony commences, and the crowd chants “Ganapati Bappa Moriya” with fervor. Amidst the celebration, Mangal silently prays to God, asking for support in her plan. In a shocking turn of events, she suddenly pushes Adit into the lake, causing gasps of disbelief from the onlookers. Adit screams for help, and Mangal reflects on her drastic action, recalling that this was part of the therapy designed to help Adit recover his memories.
Sowmya, filled with panic, urges everyone to save Adit and accuses Mangal of attempting to harm him to protect Kapil. Mangal defends her actions, insisting that this is necessary for Adit’s therapy. Concerned murmurs ripple through the crowd, with many expressing their fears about the risks involved. Kusum interjects, pointing out that Adit doesn’t know how to swim and questioning the wisdom of Mangal’s choice of location for the therapy. As the chaos unfolds, Sowmya pleas with the others to save Adit, declaring that she cannot swim in a saree. The crowd cries out for help as Mangal prays fervently to Bappa for Adit’s safety.
As Adit struggles in the water, Mangal jumps in without hesitation to save him. In a poignant moment, Adit begins to recall flashes of their shared past, bringing relief to those watching.
Once they are safely ashore, Mangal urges Adit to regain consciousness and calls for the doctor. The doctor arrives to assess Adit’s condition, while Sowmya confronts Mangal, furious over her reckless decision to put Adit’s life in jeopardy. Mangal stands her ground, arguing that her actions were intended to help Adit heal, and points out that Sowmya, despite knowing how to swim, did not attempt to save him either. The doctor notes that Adit is still unresponsive, heightening the tension.
Later at home, Sowmya chastises Mangal for her actions, claiming that by allowing hydrotherapy, she has effectively signed Adit’s death warrant. Kusum intervenes, urging Sowmya to refrain from such harsh words. Mangal, determined to defend her choices, insists that her intentions were to help Adit recover, questioning whether they truly want him to heal. Sowmya retorts that Mangal’s primary motive is to cure Adit to exonerate Kapil. Just then, Kapil arrives and calls out for Mangal, but Sowmya, filled with anger, threatens to throw him out if he doesn’t leave immediately.
As the episode draws to a close, the tension remains palpable.
In the next segment, the scene shifts to Sowmya offering juice to Kusum, who declines. Sowmya then attempts to give Mangal a drink spiked with sleeping tablets, but Mangal refuses. Frustrated, Sowmya tosses the tainted juice into a nearby plant, contemplating how she can make Mangal consume the sleeping medicine if she refuses to eat anything.
Kusum, aware of Mangal’s fasting, encourages her to eat a banana since it is Visarjan day. Mangal agrees, but just as she is about to take a bite, her phone rings. It’s the doctor calling to discuss Adit’s therapy, prompting Mangal to step aside to take the call. Seizing the opportunity, Sowmya injects sleeping medication into the banana and places it on the table.
When Mangal returns and begins preparing laddoos for the celebration, Kusum urges her to eat the banana first. Mangal picks it up, but as she is about to eat, a ball accidentally strikes her hand, causing the banana to fall. Adit appears, apologizing for the mishap, and Kusum scolds him to be more careful. Sowmya internally seethes, realizing that Adit has once again thwarted her plan.
Later, Mangal gathers the children and instructs them to offer flowers to God and pray for Adit’s recovery. They enthusiastically agree. After the pooja, Kusum asks Sudesh to apply kumkum (vermilion) on her maang (parting of the hair). Sudesh complies, and Adit curiously asks what Sudesh just applied. Kusum explains the significance of the sindoor, stating that after marriage, a husband fills his wife’s maang with it. This prompts Adit to recall his wedding photo with Mangal, and he searches for sindoor in her hand.
In a moment of affection, Adit attempts to fill Mangal’s maang with sindoor, but she stops him abruptly, shocking everyone around them. Mangal questions his actions, and Adit, confused, states that he is her husband and wants to do it just like his father did for his mother. Mangal firmly refuses, leading Adit to express his dislike for her before storming off, followed closely by the children. Sowmya watches with satisfaction, pleased that Mangal has interrupted Adit’s gesture.
A lady approaches Mangal, asking her to prepare abhooshan (ornamental items) for the Visarjan. Mangal agrees and heads off to gather the necessary items. Outside, Adit and his family perform aarti (a ritual of worship) to Bappa. Meanwhile, Mangal suddenly falls unconscious in the storeroom due to the incense fumes arranged by Sowmya. With a sinister smirk, Sowmya observes Mangal’s unconscious form, plotting her next move. Adit, feeling abandoned, assumes Mangal is neglecting him and begins to think poorly of her.
Sowmya then instructs a lady to take the sandook filled with Bappa’s belongings for the Visarjan. The lady agrees and sends men to fetch it. Adit, still searching for Mangal, asks Sowmya if she has seen her, but she remains tight-lipped. Frustrated, Adit calls Mangal bad and walks away, while Kusum grows increasingly concerned about Mangal’s absence. The men carry the sandook near Bappa’s idol, unaware that Mangal is trapped inside. Sowmya’s thoughts turn dark as she contemplates Mangal’s fate.
Kusum urges the ladies to pause the Visarjan process until Mangal arrives, but Sowmya reassures her that Mangal will show up soon. Adit expresses his frustration at not knowing where Mangal has gone, insisting he wants to dance with her. Sowmya, desperate to keep him from searching further, prevents him from leaving. The ladies encourage Kusum to join them for the Visarjan in the tempo. Initially hesitant, Kusum agrees when they assure her that Mangal will be there for the celebration. With that, they all depart for the Visarjan, leaving Mangal’s fate hanging in the balance.
