The episode begins with Dhairya biding his time, eagerly waiting for an opportunity to disrupt Mannat’s karva chauth rituals. Meanwhile, Mannat is deeply engrossed in her prayers and rituals, fully committed to the occasion. As tension builds, Mallika discreetly signals Dhairya to take action. Seizing the moment, he deliberately pushes a diya to create a distraction, shouting out that there is a fire. To his surprise, Vikrant rushes to put out the flames, inadvertently burning his hand in the process. This unexpected turn of events sends Dhairya into a panic, and he rushes to assist Vikrant.
At that moment, Vishaka intervenes, stopping Neetu from approaching Vikrant. She tells Neetu that Mannat is already there to help him, implying that Mannat’s presence might lead to a separation between Neetu and Vikrant. Vishaka further manipulates Neetu by suggesting that her bad luck has tainted the puja, raising concerns about how this might affect Vikrant’s life. She praises Mannat, calling her a good daughter-in-law who is supportive, while simultaneously instigating Neetu against her.
Later, Mannat and Roni are seen tending to Vikrant’s burn. They hear Neetu shouting in distress, prompting Vikrant to express his desire to check on his mother. Roni reassures him that Neetu will calm down once she knows he is okay, but Vikrant remains uneasy. Mannat offers to speak with Neetu to reassure her about Vikrant’s condition.
Mannat approaches Neetu and informs her that Vikrant is fine and there is no need for worry. However, Neetu lashes out, claiming that she is a bringer of bad luck. She accuses Mannat of ruining their lives since her arrival and humiliates her by suggesting that Aishwarya would have never let her drown. This accusation infuriates Shruthi, who defends Mannat, questioning how Neetu can speak to her daughter in such a manner. Neetu responds by slapping Shruthi, much to the delight of Vishaka and Mallika.
Vishaka seizes this moment to further manipulate the situation, telling Vikrant that Neetu is arguing with Mannat and that Mannat appears very angry. Concerned, Vikrant rushes out to intervene. Neetu continues to berate Mannat, accusing her of ensnaring her son in love and claiming that her mother must have taught her how to trap a wealthy man into marriage. As Neetu pushes Mannat, she loses her balance, and Vikrant instinctively catches her.
Vishaka then stirs the pot further, accusing Mannat of pushing Neetu. Vikrant confronts Mannat, demanding to know how she could act that way towards his mother. Mannat insists that she did not push Neetu, but Vikrant accuses her of lying. Gagan tries to mediate, but Vikrant insists that he supports Mannat because she is like a daughter to him, dismissing any justification for her actions. Mannat expresses her frustration, feeling that Vikrant always sides with his mother and that the world is against her. This leads to a heated argument, culminating in Vikrant declaring that he wants to end their relationship. Mallika and Vishaka revel in this outcome.
Mannat, hurt, reminds Vikrant of his words and urges him not to backtrack. She explains how she has always tried to support him, but he lacks basic trust in her. Gagan attempts to convince Mannat, but she asserts that she deserves love, not punishment, and expresses her pain over the situation. Vikrant continues to defend his mother, and in the end, Mannat decides to leave.
Dhairya, feeling conflicted, voices his discontent to Vishaka, stating that he never intended to ruin his brother’s happiness. He questions how a mother could wish to see her son heartbroken. Vishaka, sensing Dhairya’s growing dissent, becomes uneasy. Shruthi advises Mannat to reconsider her decision, urging her not to end her relationship with Vikrant. Frustrated, Mannat feels she cannot prove herself any longer, especially when Vikrant does not even test her loyalty.
Later, Roni seeks clarity from Shalini about the events that transpired. She recounts everything to him, and Dhairya expresses his disapproval of Neetu’s actions towards Shruthi, insisting that he must make a fair decision to ensure justice for Mannat, who he believes is not in the wrong.
In the upcoming scenes, Aishwarya will demand that Dhairya release her from jail, as she is determined to take matters into her own hands to destroy Mannat and the Saluja family. Meanwhile, a significant moment occurs when Vikrant fills Mannat’s hairline with vermilion, marking a pivotal point in their relationship.
