The episode opens with Vikrant deep in thought, his mind consumed by memories of Mannat. He stands before his reflection in the mirror, giving himself a stern warning to regain control over his emotions. He reminds himself that Mannat is only coming back for financial support, not for him. In his heart, he knows that she has moved on with her life, and he is on the verge of marrying someone else. This realization pushes him to resolve to stop fixating on Mannat.
Meanwhile, Mannat arrives at the grand Saluja mansion, accompanied by Dua and Bunty. As they approach the impressive structure, Bunty is taken aback by its sheer size, marveling at the opulence. Dua excitedly informs him that Yuvi, her brother, is currently residing there. However, Mannat’s heart sinks as she realizes that this mansion is also where her father is staying. She grapples with the thought of sharing this space with Dua, leading to a poignant moment where she hugs her daughter tightly, trying to mask her inner turmoil.
Kumar, a family member, greets Mannat warmly, welcoming her to the mansion. Dhairya, another relative, informs Mannat that their luggage is still in the car. Kumar reassures him that he will take care of it. Dhairya then turns to Mannat, expressing his commitment to protect Dua from any potential threats that may arise within the mansion.
As the day progresses, Vikrant notices the elaborate arrangements being made for a puja at his house. Curious, he inquires with Deepak about the preparations. Deepak explains that Arzoo has organized a Mahashivratri puja, a significant occasion in the Hindu calendar. The priest present emphasizes the auspiciousness of the day, marking the wedding of Lord Shiva and Parvati, and encourages Vikrant to offer flowers to the deity. As he does so, he inexplicably feels Mannat’s presence nearby, causing flower petals to slip from his fingers.
At that moment, Mannat enters, and their eyes lock in a moment filled with unspoken emotions. Just then, Dua arrives with Dhairya and Bunty, interrupting the charged atmosphere. The priest instructs Vikrant to tie a sacred thread, or dhaga, around Dua’s wrist, and he gently applies sacred ashes to her forehead. As he performs this ritual, he feels a deep connection to Dua, an inexplicable bond that stirs something within him. After tying the thread, Dua respectfully touches Vikrant’s feet, and he is pleasantly surprised by her gesture. She explains that her mother taught her to show respect to elders when they bless her, highlighting her upbringing.
Mallika and Yuvi observe the interaction from a distance, with Mallika commenting on Dua’s attempts to get closer to Vikrant. She reminds Yuvi of her previous warnings, suggesting that Dua is trying to usurp her place in Vikrant’s heart. Yuvi, seemingly aware of the situation, dismisses her concerns, stating that Dua is merely a naive girl trying to win Vikrant’s affection. He resolves to handle the situation himself.
Just then, Vishaka enters the scene, clapping derisively as she addresses Mannat. She accuses Mannat of being shameless for returning to the house after Vikrant had kicked her out. Vishaka claims that Mannat is only back for money, labeling her as greedy and even insinuating that she has sold her child for financial gain. Mannat, now filled with determination, warns Vishaka not to insult her in front of Dua. She asserts that she is no longer the same vulnerable Mannat and that as a mother, she will fiercely protect her daughter from anyone who dares to threaten her.
Vishaka, undeterred, refers to Dua as “dirty blood,” which incites Dhairya to step in and defend Mannat and her daughter. Just as tensions rise, Arzoo makes her entrance. Mannat pretends to apologize to her, while Arzoo feigns blessing Dua. Vikrant watches the scene unfold, feeling a pang of hurt as he hears Dhairya refer to Dua as his daughter, a title that complicates his emotions further.
**Precap:** In the lead-up to the next episode, Mallika takes it upon herself to provoke Yuvi against Dua. Fueled by her manipulations, Yuvi becomes determined to disqualify Dua from an upcoming competition. He confronts Vikrant, demanding that Dua be expelled from the house, setting the stage for escalating conflicts and emotional confrontations in the episodes to come.
