In the present, Navjot instructs Meenu to give Arjun some medication for his headache. Shortly after, she tells Mukta to manage Meenu, claiming Meenu’s presence is due to Mukta having kidnapped Arjun. Mukta insists that Navjot should fire Meenu, but Navjot disagrees, arguing that Arjun is unwell and needs her care. She advises Mukta to focus on her responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming day.
The next day, Meenu prepares a diet plan for Arjun, who expresses that he feels trapped, as if he’s in jail. Meenu reassures him that he will receive kada prasad, to which he curiously asks why. She explains that it’s special, reminding Arjun of all the times Megha used to prepare it for him. Later, while driving, Meenu comments on Mukta’s driving skills, despite her living abroad. Suddenly, she realizes the brakes aren’t working and informs Arjun just before hitting a tree. Meenu falls onto Arjun, triggering a hallucination of Megha in his mind. When he comes to, he sees Meenu beside him, while Mukta feels dizzy from the impact. Arjun checks on Mukta, who assures him she’s alright, and they arrive at Talwar House.
Navjot, concerned, asks what happened, and Arjun explains about the brake failure and the accident. Shagun panics upon hearing this, prompting Arjun to calm her down and ask for her medication. Meenu fetches the medicine from inside while Shagun eventually falls asleep. Grateful, Arjun thanks Meenu, who believes Shagun will feel better after resting. Mukta begins to suspect something is off, wondering how Meenu knows about Shagun’s medication.
Meanwhile, Arjun reflects on how Meenu reminds him of someone. Meenu acknowledges this, knowing she brings Megha to mind for Arjun. He clarifies that Megha is not a source of comfort for him but rather a painful memory. Just then, Meenu’s phone rings.
