The episode opens with a tense atmosphere as a goon inquires at the reception about Sushama’s room number. Meanwhile, Preet is in prayer, fervently hoping for Sushama’s recovery. She believes that her prayers will be answered, but as she lights a diya, a sudden gust of wind extinguishes the flame. Frustrated, Preet struggles to relight it, pondering whether this incident is a sign from Mata Rani, indicating that something is amiss.
Just then, the power goes out in the hospital, plunging everything into darkness. Seizing the opportunity, the goon stealthily enters Sushama’s room and attempts to stab her. However, Preet senses something is wrong just in time. Acting quickly, she manages to knock the goon down and cleverly exchanges the pillows on Sushama’s bed, hiding her from view. The goon, believing he has completed his task, informs his accomplice that it’s done and that Neeti will pay them for their services. Unbeknownst to him, his friend collides with Preet in the hallway, who complains about the hospital’s power cut. Preet realizes that this blackout has inadvertently helped her save Sushama.
With her instincts guiding her, Preet takes Sushama to a safe location within the hospital. The goon, noticing Preet’s movements, becomes alarmed and alerts his friend about her presence. Meanwhile, the compounder discovers that Sushama is missing from her room and decides to keep this information under wraps, fearing the repercussions.
Preet reflects on her quick thinking, acknowledging that she made the right decision by moving Sushama. She knows that the killer is still lurking nearby, and she cannot trust anyone in the hospital. Just then, a goon disguised as a doctor approaches Preet, introducing himself as Dr. Varma. He claims he cannot find Sushama in room 9 and insists that he needs to administer an important injection to her. Preet, wary of his intentions, tells him that she has moved Sushama to a safer place. The disguised goon tries to convince her that if he doesn’t administer the injection, Sushama may not wake up within 24 hours. Preet recalls a nurse telling her that Sushama is under medication and will wake up in two hours. Recognizing the goon’s voice, she becomes suspicious and questions him about the injection, pointing out that a real doctor wouldn’t complain about the hospital’s conditions.
Meanwhile, Neeti is on the phone with Nisha, expressing concern that the goon isn’t answering her calls. Gurinder, overhearing their conversation, warns that the goon is on a mission to kill Sushama. Nisha, alarmed, tells Neeti that if the goon succeeds, Sushama will never be able to become a daughter-in-law of their family. Determined to stop the goon, they leave to intervene.
Back in the hospital, Preet finds herself cornered by the goon. He demands that she come out, threatening her safety. He tries to persuade her that they have no issue with her and that she shouldn’t risk her life for an old woman like Sushama. Preet remains silent, weighing her options. Just then, Aditya, who has been alerted by the commotion, hears the goon’s threats and wonders who is being threatened.
As the goons search for Preet, they eventually find her and point a gun at her. One of the goons suggests that the noise of gunfire will attract attention, so they should use a knife instead. In a moment of desperation, Preet pushes one of the goons and makes a run for it, shouting for help. She manages to hide behind Aditya, who stands protectively in front of her. The goon demands that Aditya hand Preet over, insisting that he shouldn’t risk his life for her. However, Aditya stands firm, ready to defend Preet and confront the goons.
The episode concludes with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as the confrontation intensifies and the stakes rise for Preet and Sushama.
