Won Ji An, known for her role in “Squid Game” Season 2, is set to feature in her fourth upcoming K-drama titled “Waiting for Gyeong Do.” It was officially announced on February 18 that she will star alongside Park Seo Joon in this romantic comedy, which will air on JTBC.
“Waiting for Gyeong Do” tells the story of a man and woman who met and fell in love in their twenties, only to unexpectedly reunite later in life. Won Ji An will play the character Seo Ji Woo, the daughter of a conglomerate and a notorious troublemaker in the celebrity world. She is also Lee Gyeong Do’s first love.
Park Seo Joon will take on the role of Lee Gyeong Do, an entertainment reporter for Dongwoon Ilbo.
The drama will be directed by Im Hyun Wook, known for works like “King The Land” and “Reflection of You,” and penned by writer Yoo Young Ah, whose credits include “Dog Days,” “Thirty-Nine,” “Kim Ji Young: Born 1982,” and “Encounter.”
“Waiting for Gyeong Do” is expected to premiere in the second half of 2025 and will feature a total of 12 episodes, available exclusively on JTBC.
