Actress Sarika Nawathe, known for her portrayal of Vasundhara, the village sarpanch and mother to Ankit Guptaโ€™s character in โ€œMaati Se Bandhi Dor,โ€ has decided to exit the show. Having been part of the cast since May 2024, Sarika cited personal reasons for her departure, emphasizing that her decision was made independently and not influenced by anyone else.

Sarika stated, โ€œI quit the show for purely personal reasons. This is solely my decision to take a break and has nothing to do with any person or entity. I enjoyed working with the entire team and appreciated the opportunity to play such a strong role.โ€

Following her exit, the show has taken a time leap, with actress Anita Kulkarni stepping in to portray Vasundhara. The narrative now reveals that Ankit Guptaโ€™s character, Rannvijay, has a son named Vayu and continues to navigate a complicated relationship with his former wife, Jaya (played by Resham Prashant), while his current wife, Vyju (Rutuja Bagwe), lives with their daughter Vaani in another town. The storyline will explore how fate intertwines their lives once more. Additionally, Gaurav Mukesh, who plays the antagonist, has returned after the leap. The series revolves around the intricate relationships between Rannvijay, his wives, and the two sisters who are in love with the same man.
