The episode commences with Kausar offering some advice to her daughter, Sehar, emphasizing the need for caution and awareness while walking along the road. She suggests that Sehar can thoroughly check her book once they safely reach home. Kausar expresses a hope that her husband has not yet returned before they arrive.
Concurrently, Azar is busy helping Sofia apply dye to her hair. Sofia seizes the opportunity to complain to Azar about Kausar, expressing her irritation that Kausar is staying with them, which she perceives as an unnecessary burden on the household. Azar playfully teases her in response.
Meanwhile, Kausar learns some encouraging news from a friend who informs her that she has successfully arranged a job for her at a doctor’s residence. Kausar expresses her sincere gratitude to the friend for the invaluable support she is providing for Sehar’s education.
Kausar’s husband suddenly arrives and immediately demands to know where Kausar and Sehar had gone. Kausar remains silent, avoiding eye contact. Sofia seizes this perfect opportunity and smirks at the confrontation. She begins to instigate Kausar’s husband against her, suggesting that both mother and daughter went out to enjoy themselves and failed to seek his permission before leaving the house. He loses his temper instantly and angrily lashes out at Kausar.
Sehar bravely intervenes, pointing out that since he was not at home, it was impossible for her mother to ask for his permission. She then brings up Sofia, complaining that she was present in the house. Sofia quickly counters, accusing Sehar of not considering her to be a guardian whose permission is required before going out. Sehar clarifies that Sofia is not her guardian whose permission she needs while leaving the house. Sofia quickly turns the situation to her advantage, complaining emotionally that Sehar does not treat her like a mother. Kausar’s husband scolds Sehar severely for her disrespectful remark. Kausar steps in once more to defend her daughter.
Sehar then turns to Sofia and asks her if she has applied henna to her face, sarcastically asking if this is some new fashion trend. Sofia instantly complains that Sehar is making fun of her and asks Kausar’s husband if this is the manner in which Kausar is raising and educating her daughter. Sofia further exaggerates her complaints, claiming that she has been tirelessly managing all the household chores, including cooking, while Kausar and her daughter were out enjoying themselves. Azar, seeking to be truthful, interjects that Kausar had already finished cooking for them and left the food before going out. Sofia shoots a severe glare at her son for undermining her claim. Sehar defends her mother’s actions.
Kausar, deciding to reveal the truth, admits that she went out to meet her sister-in-law. Her husband accuses her of having no shame. He reminds her that she has cut ties with him and is no longer considered a part of his family, questioning how she could dare to go out and meet her. He expresses concern that she might misguide his wife and daughter. Kausar clarifies her reason, stating that she was looking for a job so that she could contribute to taking care of the family’s needs. Sofia jumps in, asking Kausar if they are so poor that they need her employment to run the household. Kausar asserts that she earns money to support her family and reveals that she has even sent money to Sofia’s family. Upon hearing this, her husband becomes enraged and physically assaults her. Sehar frantically asks her father to release her mother. As Sehar tries to prevent her mother from falling, the book she was carrying drops to the floor. Sofia immediately demands to know what the book is. Kausar confronts Sofia, asserting that it is her house and that she has no right to question Sehar. Sofia then expertly instigates Kausar’s husband against Sehar.
Meanwhile, Mahid visits the hospital to see the doctor. The doctor is currently occupied checking on a patient. He asks the nurse to send Mahid to his cabin where they can wait for him. During this time, the doctor observes a woman attempting to abandon her daughter at the hospital and flee the scene. He quickly catches her and demands to know why she is trying to leave her daughter in the hospital, especially in her present condition. The woman tearfully explains that her family is extremely religious and refuses to acknowledge her daughter’s medical needs, believing she is possessed. They will not allow her to receive proper treatment, and this is the only way she can hope to save her daughter, as she fears her child will die at home without medical intervention. The doctor reassures the woman that he will ensure her daughter receives treatment but insists that the mother must also protect her at home.
Later, the doctor meets with Mahid. Mahid’s father narrates the problems they are facing with his son. The doctor inquires about the root cause of Mahid’s persistent anger. He determines that the death of Mahid’s mother is the trauma that has triggered his extreme anger, causing him to lose control of his emotions.
Simultaneously, Kausar’s husband is seen examining the book that fell. He immediately complains that taking pictures is contrary to their religious beliefs. He severely warns his daughter about this violation. Azar steps in and takes the blame for the book to shield Sehar. Kausar’s husband then proceeds to burn the book.
In another part of the story, Mahid’s grandfather makes a decision to arrange Sehar’s wedding with Mahid. Mahid complains to his friends about the doctor, feeling misunderstood. Meanwhile, Kausar is lovingly comforting Sehar and offering words of motivation. Sehar is determined to continue her studies despite the adversity. At that moment, Mahid happens to notice Sehar’s dupatta flying in the wind, and he immediately forms a negative opinion, thinking she is shameless.
