The episode begins with Parvez confidently informing Kauser that he has arranged an alliance for their daughter, Sehar, with a wealthy family. He expresses his belief that this match will provide Sehar with a stable future. However, Kauser is immediately concerned, pointing out that Sehar is only 16 years old and questioning how she could possibly be ready for marriage at such a young age. Parvez dismisses her concerns, reminding her that she married him at 14 and gave birth to Sehar by the time she was 16. He asserts that this is the right age for marriage. Kauser, however, vehemently argues that she does not want her daughter to follow in her footsteps.
Parvez, frustrated, explains that he provides Kauser with food and shelter and that she lacks for nothing. He reveals that he is considering marrying Sofia because Kauser has not given him a male heir to carry on the family name. This statement deeply troubles Kauser, who asks if a woman’s only duty in life is to bear children. Meanwhile, Sofia, who is lurking nearby, subtly instigates Parvez against Kauser, suggesting that Kauser is not supportive of his plans. Kauser continues to plead with Parvez, insisting that Sehar is still a child and cannot endure the pain of childbirth. She recounts her own struggles during childbirth and expresses her fear for Sehar’s well-being, adamantly stating that she cannot allow anything to happen to her daughter.
Sofia interjects, focusing on her own ambitions. She argues that once the alliance is fixed, it will elevate Parvez’s social status, making him a relative of the influential Mufti family, which will bring him fame and recognition. Parvez, swayed by Sofia’s words, tells Kauser that she should learn from Sofia’s ambition instead of her own concerns. He then instructs her to prepare for the Mufti family’s visit and leaves the room, leaving Kauser feeling helpless.
Meanwhile, Nazima speaks to Mahid, expressing her discontent with the arranged alliance. She feels that Mufti did not consider Mahid’s feelings and should have consulted him first. Mahid, however, insists that he does not love Sehar and that Nazima should not harbor any illusions about their relationship. Nazima counters that Sehar has loved him since childhood and cannot imagine her life without him. She begs Mahid to reconsider and marry Sehar, but he firmly denies her request. In a moment of frustration, Nazima curses him, declaring that while he may be causing her pain now, one day he will fall in love and experience the same heartache.
Later, Sofia confronts Sehar, warning her not to take any ice cubes from the fridge because her father has not paid the electricity bill. Sehar argues that her father is indeed paying the bill, explaining that the fridge runs continuously and that ice cubes do not significantly increase the cost. Sofia, clearly frustrated, retorts that Sehar is ignorant because she only reads the Quran and does not understand basic household matters.
Concerned for her mother, Sehar notices that Kauser is not at home and decides to go out in search of her. Meanwhile, Mahid is lost in thought, contemplating his situation. His friend advises him to meet Sehar, suggesting that he might develop feelings for her, but Mahid resolutely refuses, stating that he cannot ruin anyone’s life by marrying them when he does not have feelings for them.
Outside, Fareed mistakes a woman standing near his house for a thief and confronts her. The woman, who is actually Kauser seeking help to stop the wedding, tries to explain her situation, but Fareed does not believe her and threatens to call the police.
In a twist of fate, Sehar unexpectedly collides with Mahid at a dargah, prompting him to wonder why they keep running into each other. After their encounter, Sehar finally finds her mother and reassures her that the wedding will not take place. Later, Kauser administers some medicine to Sehar, who suddenly starts vomiting. Alarmed, her father insists they take her to the hospital. Kauser, recognizing the gravity of the situation, asks Sofia to handle the Mufti family in her absence.
As the day progresses, Mahid remains adamant about not marrying anyone. The Mufti family arrives at their home, and Parvez welcomes them warmly, unaware of the underlying tensions. Nazima, however, is visibly upset about the arrangements being made. Meanwhile, Mahid is lost in an illusion of his mother, reflecting on his past, while Sehar notices him standing dangerously close to the edge of the building, filled with concern for his safety.
In the precap, Sehar attempts to offer Mahid some advice, but he loses his cool, suggesting that their relationship may be on the verge of a significant confrontation.
