Tassnim Sheikh Talks About Joining ‘Udne Ki Aasha’ and Future Roles

Actress Tassnim Sheikh, known for her recent cameo in Udne Ki Aasha, discussed her criteria for future television roles, emphasizing convenience and work-life balance.

Sheikh shared her positive experience on Udne Ki Aasha, noting, “The team is mind-blowing, and it was fun working with such a fabulous set of actors. The production house, Rolling Tales, and director Rajesh Babar were extremely welcoming. It was a pleasure to be part of this project, even for just four days.”

Despite receiving numerous offers, Sheikh is selective about location. “Most studios have shifted to Naigaon, which is too far for me. I prefer working within Bombay, ideally in Film City or nearby, but not beyond Borivali.”

Sheikh values unique roles over specific character types. “When I was offered Pari’s character in Udne Ki Aasha, I immediately knew I had to do it. The role was unique, and I enjoyed experimenting with different looks. Pari is a rich, elite woman who has returned from America, and it was a fun challenge to portray her.” She also enjoyed reuniting with former cameramen from Kumkum after 23 years, adding to the set’s warm atmosphere.

Looking ahead, Sheikh stated, “I will only take up one show at a time, with a maximum of 15 days of work per month.
