Both individuals are entirely convinced that their version of the night is the absolute, objective truth. As the narrative unfolds, the line between honesty and deception blurs. What starts as a mutual attraction rapidly devolves into a fierce, emotionally charged investigation where both are forced to figure out if the person they are falling for is a victim—or a master manipulator.

Seo Hyun-jin as Kang Ji-seon
Kang Ji-seon is a modern dance teacher at an elite arts middle school. Having watched her family’s fortunes crash during her childhood, Ji-seon learned a harsh lesson early in life: it is far more important to filter out the lies of others than to blindly trust their honesty. Because of her guarded nature, she is fiercely perceptive. When she meets Min Jun-ho, she initially lets her guard down—making the terrifying aftermath of their date hit even harder.

Min Jun-ho is the epitome of perfection. A brilliant cardiac surgeon, he possesses an upright, gentle face, high intelligence, and an incredibly warm personality. Since his wife passed away, Jun-ho has lived entirely for his middle-school-aged son. When he crosses paths with his son’s dance teacher, Ji-seon, his heart flutters for the first time in years. But behind his impeccable, well-mannered exterior lies a story that threatens to unravel.
