This declaration leaves her family in shock, as they had expected her to comply with traditional expectations. Heer explains her aspirations, revealing her dream of studying at CPU (the college) and her desire to become a successful individual. She expresses her determination to pursue her goals, insisting that her family return any gifts they had prepared for her wedding.
Ajit, her brother, reacts with anger to Heer’s defiance, but Dilip, a supportive figure, steps in to console her. He reassures Heer that life is a journey that continuously changes direction, and he praises her hard work, noting that she earned her placement at the college through her own efforts. In contrast, he points out that Nawab, her fiancé, has not achieved anything significant. Dilip offers to take on the role of a father figure for Heer, promising to support her education.
Gulab, another family member, interjects, cautioning Dilip against treating Heer as a charity case. She attempts to dissuade him from his plan, but Dilip remains resolute. Tayaji, another elder, tells Heer that life is presenting her with a valuable opportunity to study, which he believes is a blessing from Rab ji (God). Gulab urges the family not to pressure Heer, while Dilip empowers her to decide whether Nawab will remain in her life or not.
Gulab argues that Dilip is being unfair to Nawab, but Dilip counters that Heer deserves this chance and will receive his assistance. Tayaji warns Heer that if she refuses to go today, it could tarnish the family’s reputation. He acknowledges that she has always been right and admits that he has never asked her for anything. He pleads for her forgiveness for their past mistakes and encourages her to agree to the situation.
Ajit, however, refuses to ask for her compliance. He attempts to confront her physically, but Heer stops him, laying down two significant conditions for Tayaji. He agrees to her terms, and she takes Nilu’s hands, requesting Tayaji to protect her mother from her father and assuring him that she will look after Priti, her sister. Tayaji promises to safeguard Priti and ensure that Ajit does not harm her or Nilu. With this promise, Heer prepares to go to her sasural.
Bebe, another family member, instructs everyone to make arrangements for the bidai (farewell ceremony), while Dilip tells Gulab to proceed with the rituals. However, Gulab walks away, visibly upset.
Before leaving, Heer asks her mother to promise her that she will not suffer any mistreatment, and she tells Priti to keep her informed. Nilu reassures Heer that her fortunes are changing, supporting her with Tayaji’s promises.
In a moment of emotional turmoil, Gulab loses her composure and begins to destroy the flowers from the car, expressing her frustration. Nilu warns Heer that challenges await her, and Gulab threatens Dilip, vowing to make Heer’s life miserable in her new home. Pammi, another character, calls out to Heer, who forgives her. Heer expresses her commitment to caring for her mother and Priti, while Pammi apologizes for her past behavior.
Sarbjit, another family member, notices the name board of Heer and Nawab lying on the floor. Dilip assures him that he will manage the situation. As Heer prepares for her farewell from her home, she prays to Rab ji to watch over her mother and sister. Nilu asks Dilip to take care of her daughter, and he responds by saying that from this moment on, Heer is like his own daughter.
Upon arriving at Nawab’s house, Anmol, another character, goes to fetch the thali (plate for rituals), but Gulab rudely pushes Heer aside. Dilip intervenes, insisting on performing the aarti (a religious ritual), stating that Heer is the laksmi (goddess of wealth) of the household. This act surprises everyone, and someone captures the moment on video.
Nawab, witnessing this, calls Buzzo to check the status of the situation. Buzzo sends him the video of Dilip performing the aarti for Heer, which angers Nawab. He then contacts Vivek for assistance.
Gulab perceives Heer as an unwelcome guest, while Richa observes the unfolding drama. Nawab learns from Vivek that if there is no contact between him and Heer for six months, the court will annul their marriage. This news fills Nawab with joy, leaving Heer feeling trapped. Dilip instructs Anmol to show Heer to Nawab’s room, declaring that everything now belongs to her.
Richa and Anmol lead Heer to her new room, where she finds herself alone.
In the upcoming scenes, it is revealed that Heer has gained admission to CPU, and she unexpectedly encounters Nawab on campus.
