The episode begins with Heer and Nawab lost in thoughts about each other. Heer decides to call Nawab to express her gratitude for saving her. During the conversation, she mentions that Koyal informed her about Nawab’s efforts to help her. Nawab responds by saying that he intervened because he believes Arjun is incapable of doing anything meaningful. This prompts Heer to question Nawab about what exactly Arjun has done, emphasizing that Arjun is her friend. Nawab, curious about his mother’s obsession with Heer, asks her why she seems to be targeting her. Heer replies that Nawab’s mother is always meddling in everyone’s affairs. Taking his mother’s side, Nawab expresses his frustration, leading Heer to end the call. Nawab is left pondering the reason behind his mother’s fixation on Heer, and he resolves to ask her directly.
Later, Heer arrives at the breakfast table only to find that there is no place set for her. Gulab informs Heer that there are limited chairs in the house. Undeterred, Heer retrieves a chair and sits next to Gulab. She reminds Gulab that she is now part of the family and requests that Nawab be brought in to confirm that he will not be staying with her. Gulab refuses to sit with Heer, which causes everyone to get up from the table. As Heer stands to leave, Anmol hands her some money for travel and breakfast, telling her that she has forgiven her and suggesting that she eat at the canteen.
Upon arriving at college, Heer notices everyone staring at her. She accidentally bumps into Nawab, who she accuses of causing her trouble. Nawab retorts that he has done a lot to help her secure a job and has been spending time with Arjun. He asserts that Heer is his friend, but she refuses to acknowledge him as such. Remembering that he wanted to discuss something important with her, Nawab asks Heer to bring her phone. He then calls Buzzo to obtain Heer’s number, intending to inquire why his mother is so fixated on Thala Vati. However, when he tries to call, he finds the line busy. Nawab instructs Buzzo to call Heer from his phone, but she attempts to intervene. Meanwhile, Tina observes Nawab taking Heer’s phone and questions his intentions. Nawab claims he was discussing studies, and Tina advises him to stay out of Arjun’s relationship with Heer. Heer insists that she is at college for her studies and tells Tina to think whatever she wants. Tina, feeling suspicious, becomes determined to separate Thala Vati and Nawab. Buzzo eventually reaches Heer and informs her that Nawab wants to speak with her, but she tells him she will do so when she has the time.
In another part of the college, Arjun and Koyal are having a conversation when Tina approaches to assist Arjun. He expresses his desire for her not to interfere in his matters, while Koyal suggests that he should talk to Heer directly. Arjun, however, believes that Heer is not interested in him and that he does not want to hear a rejection from her.
When Heer enters the classroom, she finds Koyal and Arjun. She attempts to speak with Arjun, but he makes excuses to avoid her. He tells Koyal to concentrate on the festival arrangements and completely ignores Heer. She persists in trying to engage Arjun, but he continues to disregard her, leading to mockery from their classmates. Nawab, feeling jealous, watches as Heer pulls Arjun away from the canteen to have a serious conversation.
Heer tells Arjun that she needs answers and values their friendship. Arjun inquires about the future of their friendship, but Heer declines his proposal. She admits that she admires him but does not want to pursue a relationship. When Arjun asks why, Heer keeps her reasons to herself and requests that they remain friends. Unbeknownst to them, Nawab is eavesdropping on their conversation and is curious about why Heer is rejecting Arjun.
Feeling elated, Nawab treats his friends to ice cream, suggesting it might help Arjun cope with his rejection. Arjun, however, responds that he is accustomed to rejection. Meanwhile, Tina grows upset, prompting Nawab to chase after her.
Koyal questions Heer about her refusal of Arjun, while Tina asks Nawab why he appears so happy. He attributes his joy to the Lohri festival, but soon, he notices Heer’s name on a banner.
Gurlin advises Arjun to uncover the reason for Heer’s rejection and encourages him to speak with her. She expresses her belief that Heer has feelings for him and suggests he should try to win her over.
Nawab, eager to find Heer, asks a boy for her whereabouts. The boy mistakenly points him to a girl in a red dress, leading Nawab to knock on the wrong door. He questions several girls except for Thala Vati before approaching Juliet for information. He asks Juliet about Heer Sandhu, but she stops him from leaving and tells him not to overthink things as Heer tries to slip away unnoticed.
Desperate for answers, Nawab instructs Buzzo to send him a picture of Heer. He notices Juliet heading home and sees Arjun following her. Concerned about Arjun’s intentions, Nawab wonders why he is still pursuing Thala Vati. Buzzo suggests that Nawab should return home to see Heer.
Meanwhile, Arjun trails Heer, contemplating her destination. In a moment of distraction, he loses control and falls off his bike. Nawab rushes to help him, pondering why Arjun was following Juliet. He then observes Heer entering his house and quietly follows her inside. He sneaks in, hoping to catch a glimpse of her as she prepares for the festival.
As Nawab watches, he sees Heer getting ready but struggles to see her face clearly. He reflects on how long it has been since she joined his college. Just as he is about to get a better look, Anmol enters the room, interrupting his view. Determined to confront Heer at college, Nawab decides to leave.
The Lohri festival begins at the college, and Arjun approaches Heer to ask about her rejection. She tells him that the reasons are personal and becomes upset when she sees Tina with Nawab. As she starts coughing, she covers her face. Nawab follows her, trying to catch a glimpse of her face while recalling the promises he made during their wedding vows. Just then, he notices Heer about to step into an electric wire and quickly saves her, catching her in his arms. Surprised to see her face under the veil, Nawab reminds her that she is his wife.
In the precap, Tina confronts Heer, questioning why she rejected Arjun’s proposal. Heer responds by declaring to everyone that she is married.
