In the midst of this turmoil, Bebe reminds Gulab that the engagement was conducted in front of the panchayat, which infuriates Ajit. Ajit, feeling the weight of the situation, is momentarily calmed by Taiji, who reminds him of the promise made by Dilip ji. In a fit of anger, Ajit contemplates calling the sarpanch ji, who would then involve the police. Gulab, however, asserts her connections with influential individuals, claiming that she can handle the situation. Sunny advises Ajit to keep his temper in check, while Gulab expresses her willingness to explain the circumstances to the panchayat. She assures Ajit that she will tell them not to blame them for the situation, but this is the extent of her power in the matter.
Heer intervenes at this point, returning the engagement ring to Gulab. However, Gulab insists that Heer keep it, indicating her readiness to face any consequences that may arise from this decision. Heer is relieved to be free from the engagement, perceiving Gulab as a rather domineering figure. Sunny suggests that Gulab should leave, and Ajit ominously warns Heer that this is just the beginning of the unfolding drama.
Meanwhile, Nawab is consumed with worry about his father and the potential fallout from the broken engagement. Upon returning home, Gulab informs Nawab of the engagement’s dissolution. Grateful for her intervention, Nawab takes the ring back and thanks Gulab for rescuing him from the situation. Gulab also shares with Anmol that Heer is quite happy with the turn of events.
Later, Heer enjoys a meal with her friends Priti and Nilu. Nilu reminds Heer that eventually, she will have to leave, to which Heer responds that she intends to find a ghar jamai, or a son-in-law who will live with her family. Nilu hopes that Ajit and Bhaiji will not cause any trouble during this transition.
Bebe, concerned about their family’s reputation, insists that they must teach the Brar family a lesson to prevent anyone from taking advantage of their daughter. As Heer and Nawab revel in their newfound freedom, Anmol praises Heer, mentioning her devotion to Nawab and her frequent visits to the Mandir on his behalf. Richa adds that Heer even took care of Nawab during his illness.
In a moment of reflection, Heer wishes for an angelic presence in her life and recalls the mannat ka dhaga, a sacred thread tied for wishes. She calls Nawab, leading to a heated argument between them. Heer reminds Nawab that she has tied the mannat ka dhaga around his wrist, and he questions her about giving him a sponge bath. Heer explains that she was compelled to do so, urging him to untie the thread. Nawab attempts to remove it but struggles. He decides to cut the thread, despite Heer warning him that it would bring bad luck.
Meanwhile, Pammi seeks help from Heer, but Heer rebuffs her, calling her selfish and declaring that she is severing ties with her. Pammi, feeling slighted, waits for the right moment to retaliate against Heer.
In a separate confrontation, Nawab expresses his frustration by beating Buzzo, who is seemingly unfazed and expresses happiness at seeing Nawab. Nawab warns Buzzo to keep quiet about Tina to avoid any rumors.
As tensions escalate, Ajit and Taiji gather their men and storm towards the Brar house, intent on confronting them. They reach Nawab’s house, where security has locked the gates. A mob begins to throw stones at the house, instilling fear in the Brar family. The mob decides to use a tractor to break down the gate and invade the property. Nawab attempts to confront the mob, but Gulab intervenes, urging him to let her handle the situation. Nawab, however, is overwhelmed with rage, and Sunny insists that Gulab should stay back. As the mob continues to pound on the gate, Gulab asserts that they will not be intimidated. Sunny contemplates calling the police, but Gulab urges him to manage the situation before Dilip arrives.
Nawab, blaming Heer for the chaos, calls her to express his frustration about her family’s actions. Heer defends herself, insisting that she has not sent anyone to cause trouble. As the confrontation escalates, Nawab notices that Gulab has bravely opened the gate to face the mob alone. He rushes to her side, attempting to push the mob back. Gulab realizes that Nawab is putting himself in danger, and just then, Dilip arrives on the scene. The mob seizes Dilip, beginning to harass him, prompting Ajit and Taiji to step forward to intervene.
In the upcoming scenes, Heer tells Nawab to halt the marriage preparations, while Gulab offers a bribe to Ajit to ensure that the marriage does not take place.
