Amidst this tension, Lovely begins dancing to a folk song, and in a bid to humiliate Gulab, she forces her to take center stage. Gulab, feeling uncomfortable, pleads for them to stop.
As the scene shifts, Ajit instructs Nawab to participate in the varmala ceremony, but Nawab unexpectedly heads to the washroom. Pandit ji, overseeing the ceremony, prompts Ajit to bring the bride and groom forward for the varmala. Meanwhile, Tony encounters Nawab outside and learns that he was preoccupied on a phone call when he stepped out. To everyone’s surprise, Gulab showcases her impressive skills in folk dance, leaving the crowd stunned.
The moment arrives to set the plan into motion. Heer stands up for the varmala, but she deliberately pulls the sehra, revealing Buzzo instead of Nawab. This unexpected twist shocks everyone, particularly Ajit, who is furious. Heer, confused, asks Buzzo about Nawab’s whereabouts, while Dilip questions Buzzo’s presence. However, this entire scenario turns out to be a dream sequence for Heer. When she pulls the sehra again, it genuinely reveals Nawab standing before her. With limited options, Jimmy adjusts Nawab’s sehra, and Heer confronts Nawab about why he didn’t escape. Nawab explains that his father prevented him from doing so. Heer expresses her frustration, stating that Nawab has ruined their plan, to which Nawab admits he doesn’t want to marry. He contemplates how he might escape, suggesting he could leave before the phere. Heer reminds him of her instructions to escape through the toilet, but Nawab reveals that he had told Buzzo to escape instead. Buzzo, noticing Nawab and Heer at the mandap, realizes the gravity of the situation. Nawab reiterates his reluctance to marry Heer, while she feels trapped with no way out. Heer insists that Nawab is merely going through the motions for the varmala, but finds herself in a precarious position. As Pandit ji urges them to proceed with the varmala, it becomes stuck, which he interprets as a good omen, while Nawab expresses a desire to return to the washroom.
In the washroom, Nawab confides in Buzzo about his wish to flee, and Buzzo encourages him to make a run for it. Meanwhile, Heer confides in Nilu, asserting that she has not shared details of the plan with anyone and is unafraid of its potential failure. Nilu urges Heer to sit down, offering her assistance. Buzzo sends a text to Heer, informing her that Nawab has escaped, which brings her a moment of relief. Unfortunately, Dilip intercepts Nawab before he can get away. Dilip chastises Nawab for repeating his past mistakes and insists that he cannot evade his responsibilities. He forcibly drags Nawab back to the mandap, leaving Buzzo in shock at Nawab’s capture. Buzzo attempts to alert Heer, but it’s too late; Pandit ji calls for Heer to approach for the phere. As Heer walks toward the mandap, Nawab hopes she might find a way to escape.
Heer contemplates removing the sehra once more, but Nawab feels he has no alternatives left. Pandit ji instructs them to stand for the phere, and Heer is taken aback to see Nawab there. Gulab grows increasingly anxious, not wanting Heer to become her daughter-in-law, and she breaks down emotionally. Richa offers Gulab water, but she declines, feeling suffocated by the situation and believing that Dilip is being unfair to Nawab. Gulab’s concern for Nawab deepens as she wonders what he might do next.
Nawab confesses to Heer that he has failed to escape, causing her to panic. Nilu advises Heer to stay calm while she fetches water, but Ajit tells Nilu that she cannot take Heer away. Heer drinks the water, and Nilu reassures her that she has tried every possible avenue, but they are both trapped in their current circumstances. Nilu reminds Heer that this is her fate, which she must accept. As Heer and Nawab begin the saath phere, everyone appears joyful except for Gulab and Nilu. Pandit ji explains the significance of the phere, prompting Heer to recall how her father mistreated her mother. Both Nawab’s and Heer’s dreams shatter as they complete the saath phere together.
