The episode opens on a joyful note as Aparajita’s father and sister express their happiness upon seeing her. Their smiles, however, are quickly overshadowed by Aparajita’s mother, who scolds her for some undisclosed reason. In a traditional gesture, she performs a ritual to ward off evil spirits from Aparajita, which leaves her feeling emotional and somewhat conflicted about the situation.
In a contrasting scene, a lady is seen performing a puja in her home. The serene atmosphere is abruptly interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. When she opens the door, she is taken aback to see Rakshit entering on horseback.
Clearly shocked, she questions the appropriateness of such an entrance, asking who brings a horse like this. Rakshit, unfazed by her surprise, boldly states that he has come to meet his bride. He then inquires about her whereabouts from his aunt, who appears flustered.
Just then, Rakshit’s mother arrives, and he wishes her a happy 40th anniversary. She, however, scolds him for his childish behavior, rejecting his playful demeanor. Rakshit insists that she won’t find a better groom than him, to which his mother responds that she found the perfect one 40 years ago and has two sons to show for it.
Meanwhile, Aparajita’s mother, Malti, takes her inside the house, where Aaru, her younger sister, eagerly asks if Aparajita has time for her. Aparajita reassures Aaru, saying she just arrived and envelops her in a warm hug.
Aaru expresses concern that Aparajita might not attend her Tilak ceremony due to Lalit, but Aparajita quickly dismisses this worry, insisting she wouldn’t miss Aaru’s special day for anything. She then asks her father about a letter she had sent, but he advises her to forget about it, asserting that her presence alone strengthens their family bonds.
Just then, an aunt enters the scene and warmly embraces Aparajita, followed by Avinash, who also greets her. She rushes to him, offering her help with his responsibilities, but Avinash, accustomed to managing everything alone, insists that he can handle things himself while Aparajita focuses on her in-laws. Aparajita’s father questions Avinash’s tone towards his daughter, but she quickly reassures him that it’s all fine.
The atmosphere shifts when Arvind enters, drenched from head to toe. His aunt laughs and teases him about forgetting to change out of his wet clothes. Her son defends Arvind, reminding everyone that he suffers from Alzheimer’s.
Arvind apologizes for the mishap, prompting Rakshit to wipe away tears of laughter. He jokingly asks Arvind why he is apologizing, claiming it’s a new trend for the summer, and proceeds to pour water over himself, Vivaan, and even his aunt’s son, leading to a playful dance.
Arvind and his wife, Sudha, share a laugh at the antics, with Sudha commenting that she must have done something good in a past life to deserve such joy. However, this light-hearted moment is interrupted when the aunt expresses her annoyance at the frivolity.
Later, Rakshit confides in Sudha that he has called the priest to discuss matters of marriage. Sudha presses the priest to reveal when Rakshit’s marriage will take place, noting that he has turned 35 and hasn’t made any moves towards settling down.
In a surprising twist, Rakshit clarifies that he brought the priest to celebrate Arvind and Sudha’s wedding anniversary. The priest examines Rakshit’s hand and ominously declares that marriage will not come easily for him.
He warns that the bride must endure numerous trials, akin to what Sati faced to win over Mahadev. He emphasizes that Rakshit must protect the girl and be prepared to face storms for her sake. Meanwhile, Aparajita reflects on her own decisions, hoping that they won’t lead to the shattering of her family’s happiness.
As the episode draws to a close, the tension between personal desires and familial expectations hangs heavy in the air, setting the stage for future conflicts and resolutions.
In the precap, anticipation builds as Aparajita and Rakshit are set to meet again, hinting at potential developments in their relationship and further complications ahead.
