Anu yearns to spend more time with Arya, feeling a sense of happiness whenever they are together. Her feelings for him run deep, but she struggles to express them openly. Despite her affection, Anu finds it challenging to convey her emotions to Arya, leaving her feeling frustrated yet hopeful.
Meanwhile, Gopal and Pushpa are weighed down by the burden of a looming loan that they are unable to repay. Their financial troubles are a source of great anxiety for them, and unbeknownst to them, Raghu overhears their conversation and revels in their misfortune. Gopal is particularly determined to keep Anu in the dark about their financial struggles, wanting to shield her from their problems.
Raghu, sensing an opportunity, approaches Gopal and Pushpa under the guise of friendship. He inquires if they are facing any difficulties, prompting Pushpa to divulge their predicament regarding the substantial loan. Gopal, however, quickly interjects, urging Pushpa not to share too much with Raghu. Despite his warning, Pushpa continues to explain their situation. Raghu then claims to know Subhash, a man who has been pressuring them, asserting that he is an old friend and offers his assistance. Gopal is skeptical and questions Raghu’s motives, asking why he would want to help them. Raghu insists that he is willing to do this for his relatives and pressures them to consider Bipin’s proposal for Anu’s marriage.
Gopal’s anger flares at Raghu’s suggestion, and he firmly rejects any help from him, especially regarding Bipin’s alliance for Anu. He expresses his desire to find a suitable match for Anu—someone who is equal to her in intelligence, appearance, and age. Gopal warns Pushpa that Raghu is merely trying to exploit their vulnerability. Gopal suspects that Raghu has orchestrated Subhash’s ultimatum to manipulate them further. In response, Raghu scolds Gopal for his defiance, insisting that he does not deserve such disrespect. Gopal stands firm, asserting his right to maintain his self-respect. Raghu, frustrated, tells Pushpa that she can come to him if she truly needs help, claiming he will always be there for them. Gopal stops Pushpa from responding to Raghu, who ultimately leaves in a huff.
Later, Gopal reassures Pushpa that he will not allow Anu to marry Bipin. Pushpa argues, questioning what is wrong with Bipin and expressing her belief that he is a good man. She insists that Anu would be happy living with Raghu. Gopal counters that this alliance is not right for Anu, asserting that someone better suited for her exists. Pushpa retorts with sarcasm, challenging Gopal’s stance.
As the day progresses, Arya drops Anu off at her home. Anu feels compelled to apologize for any trouble she may have caused him. Arya, however, brushes off her concerns, stating that he is happy to assist his employees. Anu then asks him to fill out her slam book, a gesture she hopes will bring them closer. Pushpa, observing from a distance, grows uneasy at the sight of Anu and Arya together, particularly because of their age difference. She contemplates having a conversation with Anu about her feelings.
Once inside, Anu shares with Pushpa that Arya dropped her home. Pushpa questions why Arya, a busy man with many employees, would take the time to do so. Anu explains that she was unable to find an auto-rickshaw, and in a moment of honesty, admits that she likes Arya and cannot refuse his kindness. Pushpa, skeptical, doubts Anu’s feelings, but Anu simply smiles, unable to hide her affection.
In the office, Arya returns to his desk and finds Anu’s slam book. Intrigued, he begins to fill it out. Meanwhile, Anu confides in her friend Simran about her growing feelings for Arya. Simran, excited for Anu, playfully asks if she has fallen for him. Anu blushes and admits that she is indeed in love. Simran, however, presses Anu to consider whether Arya shares her feelings, leading Anu to contemplate how she might discover his true emotions through the slam book.
As Arya continues to answer the questions in the slam book, he comes across the section labeled “Marital Status.” Memories of his wedding day flood back, causing him to pause. He ultimately decides not to fill in that box, leaving it blank as he grapples with his past.
The next morning, Gopal prepares for work while Pushpa works on decorating a basket. Both Anu and Gopal inquire about her activities, but Pushpa remains tight-lipped. Anu mentions her intention to head to the office, and Simran encourages her to find out whether Arya is married.
Bipin overhears their conversation and mistakenly believes that Anu is considering him for marriage, prompting him to dance joyfully. Pushpa, noticing Bipin’s unusual happiness, becomes curious. She decides to visit Rajni and Raghu, where she apologizes to Raghu and claims she has devised a plan to convince Anu to accept a marriage proposal. Raghu, pleased with this development, feels that his scheme is progressing well and that Pushpa is now on his side.
Meanwhile, Meera reminds Arya about an upcoming company dinner, to which Arya thanks her for the reminder. Shortly after, Pushpa arrives at Arya’s office, but Meera and Jhende refuse to allow her to see him. As Meera addresses the staff, she warns them to safeguard their valuables, mentioning that a woman who previously stole kulfi pots at a company event is in the office today. Anu, overhearing this, is taken aback. Pushpa, desperate to meet Arya, attempts to bribe Jhende, insisting that she must see him at any cost. Anu, puzzled by her mother’s sudden appearance at her workplace, wonders what has brought Pushpa there.
