The episode opens with FM searching for Anu, indicating that something urgent has come up. He informs Meera that Arya has called Anu to his cabin, and that Jhende is also present. Anu arrives quickly, and Meera, sensing the tension, asks Anu what she might have done to warrant such an urgent summons from Arya. Without wasting any time, Anu rushes off to meet Arya, leaving Meera pondering the situation and wondering what could possibly be going on.
In Arya’s cabin, Jhende advises Arya to think carefully about whatever decision he is contemplating. Arya, however, asserts that he has already thought things through and that there is no alternative. Just then, Anu enters the room. Jhende, sensing the gravity of the moment, decides to excuse himself and leaves the two alone. Arya begins to speak with Anu, expressing that he wants to discuss something important but is unsure of how to articulate it. Anu encourages him to be forthright and not hesitate.
Arya explains that when he initially appointed Anu to his office, there was discontent among the staff, who believed she was undeserving of the position. However, Anu worked diligently and proved her worth, impressing everyone with her innovative ideas that significantly boosted the sales of Rajnandini sarees. Grateful for Arya’s support, Anu asks if there’s anything else he wants to say. Arya then reveals that he wants to promote her, stating that she truly deserves it. Anu’s face lights up with joy as she smiles and nods in appreciation.
Meanwhile, Meera, still in the dark about the events unfolding, turns to Jhende for answers. He advises her to be patient, assuring her that she will soon learn everything she wishes to know, especially since she had hoped for this development. Back in the cabin, Arya informs Anu that her salary and position will be elevated. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Anu thanks him. However, Arya then drops a bombshell: she will need to transfer to the Jaipur branch. This revelation shocks Anu, and tears well up in her eyes as she processes the news. Arya reassures her that this is a significant responsibility, but he has complete faith in her abilities. He congratulates her on the promotion, which she reluctantly accepts amidst her emotional turmoil.
Anu, feeling hurt, confronts Arya, suggesting that his promotion is a way to distance her from him rather than a genuine acknowledgment of her hard work. She accuses him of denying the truth of his feelings for her, asserting that he is merely trying to keep her away. Arya denies her claims, but Anu insists that he has feelings for her as well. She proposes a condition: they will not meet, talk, or contact each other for the next 24 hours after her departure. If fate, guided by Matarani, brings them together again, Arya must accept their relationship. Arya, taken aback, asks what would happen if Matarani does not unite them. Anu states that she will accept her feelings as one-sided and will leave for Jaipur without looking back. Arya, after some contemplation, agrees to her terms, believing that Matarani will ultimately decide their fates. Anu expresses her gratitude for the promotion and leaves Arya’s cabin, while Arya holds onto hope that fate will intervene.
As Anu packs her belongings at her desk, Gopal and Pushpa are seen trying to figure out the name of a temple, hinting at an upcoming spiritual element in the story. Meera comments on Anu’s rapid promotion, expressing her mixed feelings about Anu leaving the office, even as she acknowledges that the Jaipur branch needs Anu’s talents. Anu quietly exits, leaving Meera with a smirk, hinting at her own motives.
Later, Anu visits a temple to pray to Matarani, seeking guidance and clarity. During her prayer, Siddhi Maa appears and cryptically tells Anu that she is unaware of the origins and potential outcomes of her story. Siddhi Maa hints that Matarani’s divine play will soon reveal itself, and Anu will receive what she has long desired. She instructs Anu to visit the Kuldevi temple and offer a Chadava (a form of offering), describing the temple situated on a mountain and emphasizing that Anu must pass Matarani’s test to receive her reward. Anu leaves the temple, determined to follow Siddhi Maa’s advice.
Simultaneously, Siddhi Maa pays a visit to Gayatri, sharing details about the Kuldevi temple and predicting that Gayatri will witness Arya’s happiness and the prosperity of their household. She urges Gayatri to make the journey to the temple. Just then, Harsh rushes in, panicking and claiming that Mansi wants to kill him. Gayatri, alarmed, confronts Mansi, demanding to know what she is doing.
Back at Arya’s office, he discusses with Jhende the implications of Anu’s condition to avoid contact for 24 hours. Arya muses that if they happen to meet within that time, it would signify that Matarani wishes to unite them. Jhende cautions Arya against seeking out Anu, and Arya reluctantly agrees to avoid her. Jhende emphasizes that their paths must diverge for the good of everyone involved.
Simran approaches Anu, questioning her decision to impose such a condition. Anu explains that she has entrusted everything to Matarani’s will. Simran presses her on what will happen if she doesn’t see Arya in the next 24 hours, to which Anu responds that it will signify the end of their relationship. Despite Simran’s encouragement to find a way to see Arya, Anu remains resolute, stating that she won’t compromise her integrity. She believes that if it is meant to be, Matarani will reunite them; otherwise, she is prepared to move on from Arya’s life. Anu’s faith in Matarani’s decision underscores the episode’s themes of destiny and love.
