The episode unfolds with Arya spotting Anu in the office, a moment that sparks a flicker of hope in him. He calls over the facilities manager (FM) and instructs him to ask Anu to come to his cabin, also requesting that he bring her tiffin. FM dutifully approaches Anu, delivering Arya’s message. A mix of anticipation and anxiety fills the air as Anu makes her way to Arya’s cabin.

When Anu enters, Arya greets her warmly, expressing that he was feeling hungry and thought it would be nice to share lunch with her. He gestures for her to take a seat, but Anu’s demeanor shifts; she appears upset and hesitant. She quickly makes an excuse, claiming that her tiffin isn’t opening. Arya, sensing her distress, offers to help. As he opens the tiffin, he is taken aback to discover it completely empty. Confusion fills his eyes as he looks up at Anu, who, overwhelmed with emotion, begins to weep. She quietly takes the tiffin from him and exits the cabin, leaving Arya puzzled and concerned. He mutters to himself about the mystery surrounding Anu, wishing she would feel comfortable enough to share her burdens with him.

Meanwhile, in another part of the office, Meera approaches Jhende, her colleague, and inquires if he had a disagreement with Arya. Jhende quickly denies any conflict, but Meera expresses her concern for Arya, noting how much he cares for both the office staff and his family. She brings up Mansi, who has been speaking rudely about Arya, and suggests that Arya should confront her to put an end to the gossip. Jhende defends Mansi, stating that she isn’t truly bad at heart. He explains that Arya treats Mansi like a sister and respects her deeply. He reassures Meera that Arya’s respect extends to her as well, highlighting Arya’s genuine care for Anu as well.

Back at her desk, Anu struggles with her hunger. She sits down, hoping to quench her thirst with some water. Just then, FM returns with a food parcel, catching her off guard. Anu insists that she didn’t order any food, but FM informs her that Arya sent it for her. She adamantly refuses the meal, still grappling with her emotions. Arya, noticing her distress, decides to approach her directly. He carries the food parcel to her desk and gently urges her to eat. Anu, still upset, questions his motives, asking why he is so concerned about her. Arya, sincere and earnest, responds that sometimes there are feelings we cannot explain. He admits that he has no control over his heart when it comes to her; his worry for her well-being is genuine and not something to be dismissed.

Anu, feeling overwhelmed, responds that while Arya is capable of anything, he should not show concern for someone she perceives as just an ordinary employee. Arya, taken aback, insists that she should not belittle herself. Anu argues that she is just an ordinary girl who cannot even dare to dream. Arya counters that he worries for her future, revealing that he never intended to make her upset. Anu struggles to articulate her feelings, knowing deep down that she wants to share her life with him, but the words escape her. Instead, she pleads with him to stay out of her life, calling herself a failure and asking him to stop worrying about her. With that, she storms off, leaving Arya standing at her desk, perplexed and heartbroken.

Later that day, Gopal returns home, trying to mask his disappointment after being fired by Subhash. Pushpa, his wife, greets him and encourages him to eat, but Gopal feels a pang of sadness as he realizes they can’t even afford gas for cooking. Just then, Anu arrives home, and Pushpa informs her that they still haven’t managed to arrange a gas cylinder. Anu, concerned for her parents, learns that they are hungry as well. In a bid to shield each other from their struggles, Anu and Pushpa lie about having already eaten. Gopal, sensing their deception, feels a wave of emotion wash over him but tries to maintain a brave face. He invites them to join him for a shared meal, and they come together, breaking bread and finding solace in the warmth of their family moment, despite their hardships.

As the evening progresses, a gas cylinder is finally delivered to their home. Pushpa pays for it, and Gopal, surprised, questions her about how she managed to find the money. Pushpa, feeling the weight of their situation, brushes off his inquiry, insisting she will explain later. Anu then notices Gopal’s broken glasses and asks him what happened. Gopal, ever the protector, hides the truth, while Pushpa claims he simply fell. Anu, however, can sense that there’s more to the story and that her parents are keeping something from her.

That night, as Gopal and Pushpa discuss their financial struggles, Anu wakes up and overhears their conversation. Gopal presses Pushpa about how she managed to buy the gas cylinder, and she reassures him that she didn’t seek help from Raghu. Instead, she urges him to focus on securing Anu’s future. Gopal, concerned, questions why Pushpa is wearing a fake mangalsutra. He suspects she has mortgaged her real one again, and Pushpa’s admission of helplessness breaks Anu’s heart, leaving her in tears.

The next day, Anu prepares for work, checking in on Gopal and ensuring he is okay. She shares heartfelt hugs with her parents before heading out the door. Pushpa encourages Gopal to get ready, but Gopal hides his injury, lying to her that he is fine. At the office, Anu tells FM that she has come in early to catch up on work. FM informs her that Arya stayed late in the office the previous night, prompting Anu to rush to find him, her heart racing with a mix of worry and anticipation.

As she hurries through the halls, the weight of their unspoken feelings hangs heavily in the air, setting the stage for the emotional confrontations and revelations that are sure to come.
