The episode opens with Prabhat eagerly saying he will finish his meal quickly so that Chandrika can break her fast. Avinash teases him, saying Prabhat never misses a chance to impress her. Devansh happily praises the taste of the food, while Sarika chimes in, pointing out that Devansh and Avinash compliment Vasudha’s cooking every day. She insists they should declare whose food is the best. Devansh tactfully praises both Vasudha and Chandrika’s cooking, while Mayur playfully taunts Sarika about her cooking skills. Prabhat then tells Chandrika that he’s finished eating and offers her his plate. She happily accepts, eating from his plate, while Sarika does the same with Mayur’s.
As Vasudha collects the remaining plates to take inside, she can’t help but eat the leftover food from Devansh’s plate. Memories flood back of Chandrika saying that she must eat leftovers from Prabhat’s plate to break her fast. Savitri walks in and sees Vasudha eating, wondering for whom she is doing this. Sarika, noticing this, questions why Vasudha is eating in such a manner and sarcastically asks if she has become a beggar. Savitri intervenes, explaining there’s more to it than that.
Sarika continues to scold Vasudha, noticing the plate she’s eating from. She demands to know whose leftovers they are. Savitri informs her that Vasudha had been fasting for Madhav and is consuming his leftover food. Sarika scoffs at Vasudha, reminding her that she isn’t married yet, and suggests that her marriage might get canceled again. She warns Vasudha not to get ahead of herself and leaves.
Chandrika reflects on how her Chauth puja went smoothly, just like always. Prabhat surprises her by singing a song and presenting her with a beautiful necklace as a gift. Sarika, witnessing this, decides that she wants an even bigger gift and quickly departs. Prabhat asks Chandrika if she liked the necklace, to which she replies that he is the best gift she could ever receive. She then expresses her wish for her sons to be as good as husbands as Prabhat is and adds that she needs to find a suitable life partner for Devansh. Prabhat reassures her that Devansh’s future wife may be closer than she thinks.
Meanwhile, Avinash is lost in thoughts while looking at a photo of a mysterious girl, wondering if her name is Mushkan, as her presence brings him joy. Devansh walks in, snatches the photo from him, and mistakenly assumes it’s a picture of Karishma, teasing Avinash. He’s taken aback, however, when he sees the mystery girl’s photo and asks Avinash who she is. Avinash explains that Madhav took the photo and that the girl is Vasudha’s fan. Devansh warns Avinash to be cautious and not to mess this up.
Chandrika gazes at the moon, and when Prabhat inquires about her thoughts, she shares that she completed her puja thanks to Vasudha. Prabhat acknowledges that both Hanumant and Vasudha feel like family to them, and Chandrika remarks that she’s never met someone as dedicated as Vasudha.
Later, Vasudha struggles to wash utensils due to an injury on her hand. Savitri, noticing her difficulty, takes over the task and thanks Vasudha for saving Chandrika. Hanumant goes out to buy some ointment for Vasudha. Savitri then notices Vasudha’s mangalsutra and questions her about it, prompting Vasudha to tearfully explain that it was tied to her by Madhav. Savitri realizes that Vasudha associates her shooting marriage with reality.
Vasudha confides in Savitri that everything she did was for Devansh. She reveals that her marriage with Devansh occurred on the shooting day. Savitri is taken aback by this revelation. Vasudha explains that there was no cut during the shoot; everything felt real, including her emotions. She reassures Savitri that she has no expectations from Devansh or the Chauhas family and intends to shoulder the responsibilities of the marriage alone. Savitri, stunned, questions whether Vasudha has lost her mind.
