The episode begins with Chandrika instructing Vasudha to add salt to the soup and deliver it to Devansh. Hearing this, Vasudha feels a sense of happiness and quickly follows her instructions. Once she brings the soup to Devansh’s room, she finds him sleeping and worries that he has developed a fever because she delayed her fast. Overcome with emotion, she starts to cry. Devansh wakes up and reassures her that it’s just a fever, reminding her that Guruji said he has a suraksha kavach (protective shield). Vasudha wonders if her mangalsutra serves as his suraksha kavach, but he clarifies that Chandrika is his true protective shield. Accepting this, she serves him the soup, only for Devansh to express a desire for the food that Chandrika will prepare for Prabhat. This makes Vasudha sad, but noticing her disappointment, Devansh drinks the soup, thinking about how lucky Madhav is. After a moment, she quietly leaves the room.
In the kitchen, Chandrika accidentally burns her hand while cooking, causing Vasudha to rush in with concern. Chandrika insists she’s fine and later prepares for a puja. She reminds Sarika not to take the puja lightly and emphasizes the need to complete 11 rounds in her prayers. Chandrika asks God for Prabhat to be her husband in all her lifetimes and for his safety. As she performs the parikrama (circumambulation), the pallu of her saree catches fire, but she continues without realizing the danger. Sarika watches, horrified, and fears for Chandrika’s safety, prompting her to call for Karishma to intervene and help extinguish the fire. Vasudha also rushes forward to put it out.
Having completed the parikrama, Chandrika praises Vasudha for saving her once again. As the others head inside, Vasudha feels the need to perform a puja herself and prepares a puja plate, pondering that she must do so as Chandrika’s elder daughter-in-law. She begins her parikrama, but Savitri is taken aback by the sight, questioning who Vasudha is performing the puja for, knowing that only married women are traditionally permitted to do so.
Chandrika tells Devansh he should rest instead of working. He expresses his longing for her homemade food, which she assures him is ready. Playfully, she mentions that once he marries, he won’t remember her cooking. Devansh insists that won’t happen, and they both head to the hall.
Chandrika informs Prabhat that she needs to conduct his puja to complete the chauth puja ritual. Vasudha worries about how to perform Devansh’s puja. The rituals continue, with Chandrika performing Prabhat’s puja. He blesses her and reciprocates, stating that he desires Chandrika as his wife in all his lifetimes. Meanwhile, Vasudha prays for help in completing her own secret puja.
Chandrika instructs Vasudha to place the puja plate in the temple. However, during her secret ritual for Devansh, some vermilion accidentally falls on his legs. Seizing the moment, Vasudha cleans his legs and takes the opportunity to seek his blessings. Once everyone gathers to eat, Chandrika encourages Madhav to join them. She informs Karishma that a wife should eat from her husband’s plate to fulfill the puja’s requirement. Vasudha resolves to eat from Devansh’s plate.
