The episode begins with Abhira arriving at the Poddar house, where she reads the hurtful comments scrawled on the wall. She expresses her sorrow, saying, “I never wished this for Vidya. I’m sorry; I know you don’t agree with me.” Abhir, sensing her turmoil, chimes in, expressing that he wanted justice as well but not like this. He acknowledges Armaan’s obsession with her, reminding her that this situation will ultimately drive them apart. Despite his concern, Abhir reassures Abhira of his support. They share a warm hug, which Dadi interrupts with her frustration, declaring that the festival cannot be celebrated until Vidya returns.
Krish affirms Dadi’s sentiments, stating that no one wants to celebrate under the current circumstances, and Aryan and Charu voice that they have already told their friends not to come. Manisha asks about the puja for the next day, but Dadi insists they check the wall’s comments first and firmly states no puja will take place until Vidya is back. When Rohit informs her that Madhav has gone to Delhi to meet the minister, Dadi wonders about Armaan’s whereabouts. Sanjay explains that Armaan needs time to cope with Abhira’s betrayal and won’t be able to aid Vidya.
Determined to help, Abhira rushes to meet the ACP and several lawyers, only to find no one willing to assist Vidya. As she scans the crowd, she spots a minister and dashes over, but before she can engage him, a little boy runs out to catch a kite, endangering himself in the process. Abhira witnesses the danger and hurriedly intervenes just in time. Meanwhile, Armaan is at the minister’s office, annoyed at being kept waiting. He learns from a staff member that the minister is fetching his son from school. When Armaan confronts the PA, tensions escalate, leading to a fight where Armaan punches the PA after a taunt about Vidya and Abhira.
Just then, Abhira successfully saves the boy from harm. The grateful minister thanks her and offers his help, handing her his business card. As the guards approach, Armaan is chastised by the PA, who makes a jab about Abhira’s clear disregard for Vidya. Frustrated and heartbroken, Armaan storms away. On the flip side, Abhira pleads with the minister for support in Vidya’s case, and with Aryan’s encouragement, he eventually agrees to help.
Later, when Abhira goes to the Poddar house in the morning, she scrubs off the derogatory comments from the walls. Armaan comes home to see the remarks but feels confused by the sight of Abhira there, convincing himself that he must be dreaming. When he closes his eyes, she seems to vanish, leaving him questioning why she haunts his thoughts.
Afterward, as Armaan greets his brother Rohit, excitement fills the air since it seems he has secured help for Vidya. Dadi gratefully acknowledges Armaan’s efforts, but he deflects the praise, insisting he hasn’t done anything significant. Manisha echoes Dadi’s gratitude, wishing every parent could have a son like him.
At the jail, Armaan waits to pick up Vidya, tears of happiness streaming down his face as she steps out. Abhira stands at a distance, heartbroken. Armaan drapes a shawl over Vidya to keep her warm and offers her hot tea, gently ushering her back to the family gathering. However, Abhira notices that Vidya seems unresponsive and lifeless despite the warm welcome from the family.
As the family prepares for the Makar Sankranti puja, Dadi insists on performing the aarti first, yet when Vidya participates, she drops the aarti plate, revealing her internal struggle. Both Dadi and Armaan are concerned, prompting Vidya to admit that, even though she’s home, she feels lost in the shadows of her past, as if she’s still in prison.
Dadi encourages her to rest, but Vidya refuses, insisting that Abhira is to blame for her pain. She demands that Armaan seek revenge, swearing that she has suffered enough because of Abhira and that it’s time for her to experience retribution. Armaan is taken aback by her intensity.
**Precap:** Dadi acknowledges that Vidya is still in trauma. In an escalating confrontation, Armaan harshly scolds Abhira in class.
