Arman wakes up feeling utterly devastated, haunted by Abhira’s recent accusation. As he makes his way downstairs, he is lost in thought and unable to shake off the heavy emotions weighing him down. In the living room, Abhira is speaking to Myra, defending Vani and insisting that she is not to blame for the turmoil they are experiencing. Myra, however, responds with frustration, claiming that Vani is the reason her birthday celebration was ruined.
Abhira stands firm in her belief that Vani did nothing wrong, but Myra counters that Vani is not a good person, pointing out that both Arman and Abhira are sad and crying because of her actions. Abhira is taken aback by Myra’s harsh words, feeling the sting of the accusation.
Meanwhile, Mittal is taken by surprise when he sees Arman. Arman asks Mittal to bring Meher in so that she can sign some important papers, and he proceeds to sign them himself. When Mittal inquires about the nature of these papers, Arman reveals his intention to reopen Meher’s case. He expresses his determination to reassure Abhira if she has any doubts, emphasizing that she would never make accusations without solid proof. In a tense moment, Meher overhears Arman’s conversation and, in a fit of rage, attempts to harm him. Fortunately, the staff intervenes and restrains her before any harm can be done.
Arman then turns to Mittal, questioning his silence regarding the situation. Mittal explains that he respects Arman’s principles and is willing to cooperate in reopening the case. This unexpected support surprises Arman, who is known for his unwavering stance against wrongdoing. He makes it clear that he will not hesitate to hold Meher accountable if she is found guilty, stating that he never spares a culprit. Later, Meher confronts Mittal, who admits that his cooperation is solely to earn Arman’s trust. He warns her that even if Arman uncovers evidence against her, he has the power to manipulate the situation and could potentially destroy both Arman and the Poddars if necessary.
In another part of the house, Kaveri tries to lift Myra’s spirits by talking about flying kites for Makar Sankranti. However, Myra refuses to celebrate the festival, feeling that it would be inappropriate while Arman and Abhira are still upset. Kaveri encourages Myra to find a way to reunite the two so that they can celebrate the occasion together.
Arman later informs Abhira that he has made the decision to reopen Meher’s case and that the Mittals are on board with this plan. Abhira expresses her belief that the truth will ultimately come to light, but Arman, filled with anger, refuses to forgive her for what he perceives as a betrayal of his trust.
As tensions rise, Krish confronts Abhira, accusing her of lying about Vani. Arman quickly steps in, exposing Krish’s manipulative tactics and warning him not to involve Abhira in his schemes again.
Myra, concerned for Arman’s well-being, gives him his medicine and continues to blame Vani for the conflicts surrounding them. Arman, however, stops her and takes the time to explain that Vani has faced many struggles in her life and that not everyone’s circumstances are the same. Although Myra questions his perspective, she ultimately helps Arman drift off to sleep. Abhira also finds herself falling asleep, reflecting the heavy atmosphere that has enveloped the household.
As the day progresses, Arman resolves to go to the firm to work on Meher’s case, choosing to forgo any celebration of Makar Sankranti. Abhira, on the other hand, comforts Vani, who is feeling homesick and missing her parents. In a moment of connection, Abhira decides to fly kites with Vani, a plan that Myra inadvertently overhears.
In the upcoming scenes, CCTV footage from the day of Rajat’s murder comes to light, adding another layer of complexity to the situation. Arman grapples with the implications of this new evidence and ultimately refuses to take the case forward, fearing that if Meher is proven guilty, he would bear responsibility for Anita’s murder. This revelation leaves Abhira feeling anxious and restless, uncertain about what the future holds.
