Abhira turns to Arman, questioning him about why he decided to stop the video they were watching. In response, Arman asks her if she really wants him to witness the troubling scene where Rajat is seen forcing himself on Meher. Abhira, however, is adamant that they need to watch the entire video with the sound on, believing it is crucial for understanding the situation. She rewinds the video and plays it again, but both of them quickly realize that the audio is not clear. Arman tries to make Abhira see that, despite the unclear audio, the visuals clearly depict Rajat’s aggressive behavior towards Meher. He urges her to acknowledge what is happening on screen. Nevertheless, Abhira insists that Arman should watch the video carefully before jumping to any conclusions about the situation.
As the tension rises, an argument erupts between Abhira and Arman. Arman asserts that Abhira cannot truly grasp the depth of Meher’s pain in this scenario. In turn, Abhira responds passionately, stating that she would have trusted the Mittals, but her trust was shattered when Anita revealed the truth to her. Arman counters by suggesting that Anita lied simply because she was aware of Abhira’s compassionate nature and her tendency to empathize with others. Abhira then challenges Arman’s claim, questioning why Anita would fabricate a lie and hand over the responsibility of Vani to her if that were the case. The argument escalates, with Arman insisting that the evidence of Rajat’s wrongdoing is right in front of them, while Abhira accuses him of lacking trust in her judgment. She demands that he promise to allow her to continue her investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, Mittal is on a quest to find Vani, intending to present her with a gift. When Abhira and Arman return home, Mittal mentions his visit and expresses his desire to give something to Arman. Noticing this, Abhira instinctively shields Arman from Mittal’s gaze. Mittal then reveals that Meher has signed the necessary papers, which allows him to reopen the case regarding Rajat. This revelation leaves Arman visibly shocked as he exchanges a glance with Abhira. Mittal also apologizes for disrupting Myra’s birthday celebration, prompting Abhira to exit the scene. He further expresses regret to Arman for the family disputes that have arisen due to the ongoing case. Arman reassures him that he will manage everything and requests that Mittal give the gift to Vani instead.
As the scene unfolds, Abhira notices that Vani appears to be unwell and invites her to sit beside her. Meanwhile, Myra feigns illness, hoping to gain Abhira’s attention. Abhira finds herself torn between the needs of both girls, which creates a sense of internal conflict. Myra accuses Abhira of abandoning her during the Makar Sankranti celebration, demanding to know what could possibly be more important than her needs.
Vidya and Kaveri observe the distressing sight of Abhira being pulled in different directions by the two girls. Arman learns that Myra is experiencing a stomachache and suggests that Abhira stay with her. However, Abhira informs him that Vani has developed a high fever. In light of this, Arman decides to remain with Myra while encouraging Abhira to check on Vani. Abhira resolves to prepare food for both girls to ensure they are cared for. Kaveri and Vidya confront Abhira, urging her to withdraw the case against Rajat. Abhira stands firm, stating that the truth has yet to be uncovered. When pressed further, she defends her stance and asks for their assistance in caring for both Vani and Myra, but they refuse, expressing concern that Myra might feel neglected. Ultimately, Abhira decides to take on the responsibility of caring for both children.
In a different setting, Tanya discovers that Anshuman’s company is in need of a new project leader, which raises her concerns about her brother’s business prospects. Meanwhile, Krish is on the hunt for a job, and Kajal inadvertently overhears his frustrations. Krish, in a sarcastic tone, tells Kajal that she should celebrate his struggles instead.
Later on, Arman attempts to soothe Myra to sleep by telling her a story, but she stubbornly refuses. Abhira then steps in, and Myra immediately agrees to listen to her. Arman is taken aback by this sudden change in Myra’s attitude and questions it. Abhira explains that she is simply a good storyteller, leading to an awkward moment between her and Arman.
In the precap, Manisha informs Abhira that Vani is missing. In a frantic turn of events, Vani runs onto the road, where Meher spots her and makes a dangerous attempt to run her over with a car. Abhira rushes forward to protect Vani, putting her own life at risk in the process.
