Anita turns to Abhira and asks her to make a heartfelt promise. With sincerity in her voice, Abhira assures Anita that her daughter will always be enveloped in a mother’s love, no matter what happens. This moment is heavy with emotion, as they both understand the weight of the promise being made. Shortly after, Anita breathes her last, leaving Abhira utterly shattered and heartbroken. As Abhira grapples with the profound loss, she reflects on the painful memories of how Anita had revealed the truth to her and the tragic moment when she consumed poison. Overwhelmed by grief, Abhira breaks down, consumed by her sorrow.
At that moment, Vani calls out for her mother, Anita. When she sees Abhira, she innocently asks if she is afraid of the dark. This brings back memories for Vani of the times when Abhira had bought her Christmas gifts, moments filled with joy and warmth. Suddenly, Vani’s expression shifts as she inquires about Anita’s whereabouts. She hands Abhira a letter, explaining that Anita had told her she would come today. Vani encourages Abhira to read the letter aloud. In the letter, Anita expresses her wishes for Vani to always smile and to consider Abhira as her new mother.
Vani is taken aback by this revelation and attempts to walk away, clearly struggling with her emotions. However, Abhira gently stops her and encourages her to cry if she needs to. Abhira acknowledges that Anita often said crying was not good, but today is different; today, it is okay to let the tears flow, and no one will judge her for it.
Meanwhile, Myra experiences anxiety when her bracelet breaks, fearing it symbolizes a fracture in her family. Arman, sensing her distress, reassures her that he will fix the bracelet. Myra, still worried, asks him if their family will also break apart. Arman promises her that he and Abhira will mend everything, just like the bracelet, vowing that they will not allow their family to fall apart. However, as he looks around for Abhira, he realizes she is missing, which only heightens his concern.
When Abhira returns home, she is consumed by devastation and lashes out at Meher and Mittal, slapping them in a moment of anger. Mittal is taken aback and questions her violent behavior, while Arman, confused and concerned, asks what has happened. Abhira accuses Meher of being a criminal, which escalates the confrontation. Meher retaliates and attacks Abhira, but Arman intervenes, pushing Meher away and causing her to stumble. Mittal, feeling insulted, accuses Abhira of being a goon, claiming they were only called to be humiliated. In a fit of rage, Abhira labels both Mittal and Meher as criminals and murderers, revealing the shocking truth that Rajat was innocent and that Meher had killed him out of jealousy over not receiving the Women’s Achiever Award. This revelation leaves Arman in shock, filled with guilt as he realizes that Rajat had been wrongfully accused of serious crimes because of his actions. Overwhelmed by the weight of this realization, Arman contemplates ending his own life.
Suddenly, the scene shifts back to reality, where Arman, still concerned, asks Abhira where she had gone. Abhira stands there, stunned and speechless. Mittal suggests that Arman take Abhira aside to talk privately, as the tension in the room is palpable with everyone watching. In the midst of this, a waiter accidentally spills juice on Meher, igniting her fury. Mittal urges her to keep her composure. Vani starts coughing, prompting Abhira to introduce her to Arman as the daughter of her friend.
In another part of the gathering, Kiara’s earring falls to the ground, and Surekha tries to stop her from leaving, but Manisha intervenes, insisting that Kiara will stay with them until she is certain that Kiara is happy in the Goenka household. Kiara explains to Abhir that Manisha feels Surekha is constantly comparing her to Charu, which adds to the tension.
Later on, Myra expresses her happiness about spending the night with both Arman and Abhira. When she inquires about Abhira’s earlier absence, Abhira explains that she went to bring a friend for her. Abhira then introduces Vani to Myra, encouraging her to befriend Vani and share her toys and clothes with her. Myra happily agrees, bringing a sense of warmth and hope to the otherwise heavy atmosphere.
