The episode opens with Bablu informing Meera and Ishani that he will arrange for help to clean the outhouse, which has accumulated a significant amount of dust. However, Meera insists that assistance is unnecessary, as she is capable of managing everything herself. Bablu, pleased with her determination, encourages her to seek Ayaan’s help if she requires anything, emphasizing that Ayaan is a responsible individual. After Bablu departs, Meera sends Ishani away and begins her task of cleaning the room.
As Meera works, she senses someone following her and turns around, feeling a wave of relief upon discovering that it is Ayaan. He playfully teases her for being startled and then invites her to eat, but Meera declines. Noticing Ishani enjoying her meal, Meera eventually accepts the food from Ayaan while gazing at him.
Meanwhile, Thakuma is preoccupied with thoughts about whether Meera needs anything. She notices the television turning on and decides to switch it off. However, she is taken aback and filled with concern when she hears Dakini’s voice, which ominously declares that Raja Saheb belongs to her and has returned solely for her. While Meera attempts to fix a blown fuse, Ayaan enters the room holding a lit candle. He informs Meera that he will repair the faulty phase of the fuse in the outhouse the next day.
Later, Meera hands Ayaan a medicinal paste, asking him to apply it to his wound. Ayaan jokes about her wanting to see him shirtless, to which Meera responds with a firm command, suggesting he should apply it if he wishes, before returning to her chores. Ayaan removes his shirt to treat his injury but struggles to do so. Observing his difficulty, Meera steps in to help him apply the paste. They share a moment of silence as they look at their reflections in the mirror. As Meera prepares to leave, Ayaan stops her and begins applying paste to her injured hand. He mentions that he will cook for Ishani, but Meera declines his offer, stating that he has already done enough for them.
Ayaan gently encourages Meera to express her sorrow regarding her house, which has been destroyed. He acknowledges the significance of the home, filled with cherished childhood memories for her. This prompts Meera to open up about her grief and pain, and in turn, Ayaan shares his own sorrow about losing his mother. Their emotional exchange leads to both of them becoming teary-eyed, connecting over their shared experiences of loss.
Meanwhile, Thakuma is seen praying to God for Ayaan’s safety, expressing her hope that he will remain protected as long as Meera is by his side. As this unfolds, both Meera and Ayaan hear the sound of a car horn. Ayaan steps outside to investigate and discovers Arnab in the car, visibly intoxicated. He helps Arnab inside, but the drunken state leads Arnab to begin criticizing Meera harshly.
In another part of the house, Ishani is startled by a shadow that seems to interact with her. As Meera is on the phone with hospital staff, inquiring about Debashish’s health, she suddenly realizes Ishani is missing. Concerned, she rushes outside and finds Ishani near a car. Meera questions her about a fourth person she had drawn in the car, and her heart sinks when she recognizes the vehicle as the one she saw during the fire that destroyed her house.
Back inside, Ayaan stands up for Meera against Arnab’s accusations, but Arnab provocatively suggests that Ayaan should throw Meera out of the house. Hearing Meera’s voice calling for the Chaudhary family, Ayaan rushes outside. Meera claims that someone from the family is responsible for burning her house and provides the car’s registration number. Ayaan quickly identifies it as Arnab’s car. When Arnab arrives, he shockingly admits to setting the car on fire, causing disbelief among the gathered family members. Meera confronts Arnab, demanding to know his motives, while Thakuma orders him to leave. However, Arnab refuses to comply, instead blaming Meera’s mother, Nandini, for the death of his wife, Swastika. Ayaan stands in stunned silence, grappling with the revelation.
In the upcoming scenes, the tension escalates as Dakini successfully removes the locket from Ayaan’s neck, marking him in a sinister manner. Meanwhile, Meera and Thakuma engage in a puja, hoping to rid themselves of Dakini’s influence and protect Ayaan from further harm.
