The episode opens with a heartwarming scene where Ved embraces Aarti tightly, showcasing their close bond. In a gesture of love and affection, Ved presents her with a stunning diamond necklace as a gift. Aarti, surprised and touched, asks Ved if the necklace is truly for her. Ved confirms with a smile, adding that he has a special surprise planned for her later. Curious, Aarti inquires about the nature of the surprise, but Ved playfully insists it must remain a secret for now. Grateful for the thoughtful gift, Aarti expresses that she doesn’t need extravagant presents and that all she truly desires is Ved’s love and presence. Ved responds warmly, pulling Aarti into another affectionate hug.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Rajput family arrives at the Awasti household, carrying an assortment of gifts. Anjali and Padma, intrigued, question the driver about who sent him. Just then, the driver receives a call from Sadhika, prompting him to hand the phone over to Anjali. On the call, Sadhika inquires if Anjali has received the Diwali gifts, mentioning that they have sent clothes and jewelry. Sadhika, with a condescending tone, acknowledges that Anjali is likely to refuse the gifts, just as she did last time, and makes a disparaging remark about Anjali’s worthiness as a mother. Offended, Anjali confronts Sadhika, asking if she called solely to insult her. Sadhika continues to belittle Anjali, insisting that if Anjali wishes to attend the engagement, she should wear the clothes and jewelry sent to her. With that, she abruptly ends the call.
Fuming, Anjali instructs the driver to return all the gifts, but Padma intervenes. She reminds Anjali that Ganesh, who raised Aarti, should be the one to go to the Rajput mansion, urging Anjali not to spoil the occasion. Taking charge, Padma selects a suit for Ganesh and leaves, while Anjali insists that the driver take back all the gifts, reiterating that she does not accept charity. The driver nods in agreement and departs.
As the festivities for Diwali and Ved and Aarti’s engagement unfold, Raghav and Abhay warmly welcome the guests arriving at their home. Vaibhav approaches Raghav, expressing concern that Gaurav and Nivedita have chosen not to attend the engagement ceremony, believing it to be inappropriate. Raghav reacts with a dismissive comment about their absence.
Raghav continues mingling with the guests, who inquire about Anjali’s whereabouts. He reassures them that she will arrive shortly. Just then, Ganesh makes his entrance at the Rajput mansion. Raghav greets him enthusiastically and poses for a picture together. However, Raghav soon notices Ganesh’s ordinary attire and questions why he hasn’t worn the clothes sent by the family. Ganesh firmly states that he refuses to accept anything from his in-laws and threatens to leave if he is unwelcome. Raghav, trying to maintain peace, insists that Ganesh is welcome to stay. In a mocking tone, Ganesh reminds Raghav of his past words about not allowing “dogs, beggars, and Awasti’s” in his house, highlighting the irony of the situation. Raghav, choosing to overlook the past, states that today is a celebration of his granddaughter’s engagement, and he is not in the mood for conflict. Ganesh retorts, but the conversation is interrupted as guests ask where the bride and groom are.
Aarti finally descends the stairs, followed shortly by Ved, and the atmosphere becomes lively as the entire Rajput family and guests join together to dance joyously.
Anjali speaks to Pankaj, noting that everyone is expected to attend Aarti and Ved’s pre-engagement ceremony. Aarti suggests that they should take Ravi along so he can see everyone, explaining that although he doesn’t know the name of the person who hired him, he has seen their face.
Padma cautions Anjali against attending the ceremony, reminding her that Aarti is her daughter. Anjali, however, remains resolute, stating that her singular focus is to uncover the truth behind her husband Aman’s murder and bring the perpetrator to justice. She argues that it has yet to be proven whether Ved is truly unmarried. Kali interjects, asserting that Ved is indeed married, and if the engagement proceeds, it will cast doubt on Anjali’s commitment to her cause. Anjali, feeling provoked, lashes out at Kali, questioning her authority to challenge her dedication to the law. She warns Kali that if she discovers Kali was involved in the attempt on Aarti’s life, she will not hesitate to take action against her. Kali responds defiantly, but Anjali and Pankaj ultimately leave the scene, determined to pursue their investigation.
In the precap, Anjali arrives at Ved and Aarti’s pre-engagement ceremony with Ravi, creating a stir as she interrupts the proceedings. Raghav, taken aback, demands to know what is happening. Anjali reveals that Ravi was responsible for Aman’s accident and asserts that he will recognize the person who orchestrated the incident, who is present at the ceremony. In a tense moment, Yuvraj is seen hiding from Ravi, heightening the drama of the unfolding events.
