As the rituals continue, the Pandit requests Sindhur from Padma, who promptly offers to fetch it. However, Padma has ulterior motives; upon arriving at Anjali’s house, she realizes that Ved is truly in love with Aarti. Determined to prevent the marriage from taking place, she decides to substitute the traditional Sindhur with red color powder, intending to disrupt the ceremony.
When Padma returns to the Mandap, she hands Ved the red powder, which he mistakenly believes to be Sindhur. In a moment that should signify love and commitment, Ved applies the red powder to Kali’s hairline, further complicating the situation.
