The episode opens with a tense exchange between Abhay and Damodar. Abhay asserts that he and Damodar share a fundamental similarity; the only distinction lies in their affections. For Damodar, his love is Gini, while for Abhay, it is Anjali. He emphasizes the significance of the land to him, stating that he would even consider performing Gini’s kanyadaan if necessary. In response, Damodar reveals that he has purchased the land for a staggering ₹100 crores and challenges Abhay to bring ₹200 crores if he wishes to acquire it. Abhay, seeking to solidify the gravity of the situation, asks Damodar to swear on Gini’s name, which Damodar reluctantly does. After this intense exchange, Abhay departs.
Following Abhay’s exit, Gini confronts Damodar about his intentions, reminding him that if Abhay secures the land, he will marry Anjali. In a fit of rage, Damodar declares his sinister plan to kill both Anjali and Abhay on their wedding day, vowing that neither will obtain the land or Anjali. He turns to Gini, inquiring whether she is pleased with this outcome. Gini responds affirmatively, and Damodar hands her a gun, instructing her to take action against Anjali. Gini agrees to his request, setting the stage for potential conflict.
Meanwhile, Ved and Aarti return to the Rajvanshi house, where they encounter Sonal, Uday, and Pratap. The trio taunts Aarti, making snide remarks about her impending new father. Ved, standing up for Aarti, argues with them, insisting that they treat her with respect. He defends Anjali’s right to live freely and expresses admiration for Abhay, who is committed to providing Anjali with a new life. Ved highlights that Anjali’s upcoming marriage will serve as an inspiration for women like Aarti. However, Aarti remains resolute in her anger towards her mother and storms out, with Ved following her.
Sonal, Uday, and Pratap conspire to create rifts between Abhay and Anjali, determined to prevent the marriage from occurring.
Anjali is seen gazing at a photograph of Aman when Padma approaches her. Anjali confides in Padma, expressing that this new relationship feels like an unbearable burden. She resolves to inform Abhay that she cannot proceed with the marriage.
As Anjali opens the door, she is greeted by members of the Basti community, who come to express their gratitude. They inform her that Abhay is reconstructing the Basti and returning it to them out of love for her. They bless her and leave, prompting Padma to insist that Anjali has no choice but to accept the marriage.
Abhay then calls Anjali to discuss the arrangements for the money. He urges her to come home. At that moment, Aarti arrives and questions Anjali about her conversation.
Aarti confronts Anjali, labeling her as characterless. In response, Anjali tells Aarti to know her boundaries. Aarti challenges Anjali, asking whether she speaks as Aman’s wife or as Abhay’s future wife. She firmly declares that she will do everything in her power to prevent the marriage, insisting that only Gini can halt it. As Aarti attempts to leave, Ved intervenes, bringing her back to Anjali. He urges Aarti to recognize how exhausted Anjali is after fighting for women’s rights throughout her life. Ved questions whether Anjali does not deserve a joyful married life with Abhay and openly supports their union. In retaliation, Aarti asks Ved how he would feel if his own mother were in Anjali’s position. This prompts Ved to shout at her in frustration. Aarti, in turn, responds with anger, reiterating her determination to stop the marriage.
In the precap, Raghav contacts Anjali to inform her that Abhay requires ₹200 crores to purchase the Basti, and he offers to provide the funds. Tensions escalate when Vaibhav confronts Raghav, grabbing his collar and arguing with him. In the ensuing confrontation, Raghav slaps Vaibhav, only for Bhajan to intervene, warning Raghav not to give a single rupee to Anjali.
