The episode begins with Rupa complimenting Apollena on her unique name, to which Apollena expresses her fondness for it. Rupa inquires if Apollena has brought a saree, and when Apollena nods, Rupa reminds her that Mahadev explicitly stated girls should wear sarees for the puja. She mentions the price of her saree, leading Apollena to pick a more affordable option before heading to change. In the meantime, Shlok, who is getting dressed, is startled to see Apollena exiting his room. They both quickly turn away from each other. He chastises her for not locking the door, while she retorts that he should have knocked. He instructs her to put on her saree quickly, promising not to look. Apollena covers herself with a dupatta as Shlok playfully mocks her saree draping. She asks for his opinion on her appearance, and he tells her she looks lovely. Curious, she asks how he knows to drape a saree so well, and he reveals he can’t help but assist a girl in need. Shlok adds that they often have differing views but share mutual thoughts on certain subjects. He mentions his efforts to support Sarangi with her studies and to prevent her from working, which she managed to convince her father about today, earning his admiration.
Later, Apollena questions Rupa about the puja’s purpose at their home. Rupa assures her that she will understand soon. Irani asks Shlok about the ceremony, and he explains that he performs this Brahmin puja annually to donate to an orphanage. After the puja, he encourages guests to contribute for the children, while Rastogi donates ₹10,000. He prompts Saraswati to donate as well, who claims that Mahadev has already given. He insists she, as the Lakshmi of the house, should also contribute. Saraswati then offers something, looking proudly at Rastogi. Shlok mentions to Irani that they have been best friends since childhood, despite their mothers bickering like children. Saraswati nudges Apollena to give something as well, but Apollena hesitates, stating she has nothing. Saraswati jokes about it before Apollena rushes off to retrieve her books.
Saraswati questions the worth of the books, asserting they won’t bring any monetary contributions. Apollena defends her choice, explaining that books represent Goddess Saraswati and provide knowledge to children—unlike money that only offers temporary assistance. The priest is highly impressed, stating her in-laws will feel fortunate to have her as a daughter-in-law and that her family will flourish. Mahadev looks on appreciatively. Meanwhile, Grandma instructs Madhu to contact Apollena, initiating a video call where they’re pleased to see Mahadev and his family. Madhu compliments Apollena on her saree, asking who helped her drape it; she recalls Shlok’s assistance. Grandma assumes another woman must have helped her. Apollena shares that Mahadev promised to take her home. At that moment, Mahadev discovers about an income tax raid on his shop and requests Saraswati to send Shlok with Apollena. Girdar is on the phone with Apollena, and Mahadev informs her before excusing himself. Saraswati tells Apollena that Shlok will drive her home, leaving Girdar visibly shocked.
