The episode begins with Mahadev reviewing the latest jewellery designs. He instructs Munshi to show these designs to Saraswati and Rupa when they return home. As he completes his task, he notices Apollena packing her belongings and asks her where she’s headed. Apollena responds that she plans to move to the hostel. Mahadev insists that she must remain at home, as she is the daughter-in-law of the house. Apollena explains that this situation has caused her problems. Though she agreed to be his daughter-in-law, she never intended to abandon her studies. Unable to attend college due to her marriage, she expresses her frustration.
Mahadev reassures her that he supports her education. He believes she can continue her studies while also participating in household rituals. However, Apollena argues that balancing both is impossible and that staying in the hostel is essential for completing her engineering degree. Mahadev then suggests that she must choose: either quit her studies or stay at home.
He emphasizes the importance of upholding traditions and customs, to which Apollena questions why he is imposing these standards on her. She reminds him that he stood by when Saraswati attempted to suppress her identity and knew he would handle her only during her struggles. Finally, Mahadev reluctantly agrees to let her go to the hostel on Monday but insists she complete the rituals first. He sends her to her maternal home to fulfill the customs, leaving Apollena anxious about facing her father.
Meanwhile, Girdar is unwelcoming and insists he will not entertain Apollena or perform the rituals, declaring her dead to him. He states that he is solely Neil’s father. Madhu intervenes, stating that Neil will step up in Girdar’s place. Girdar, lost in his own ambitions, dismisses Apollena as someone who has discouraged him from pursuing his dreams. Neil feels elated by his father’s support.
Later, as Apollena arranges her bed, Shlok enters, carelessly tossing his clothes and shoes around. Apollena scolds him for being disorganized, advising him to clean up after himself. He refuses, suggesting she accommodate his mess instead. Apollena insists it’s unnecessary since she will be going to her maternal home for two days, and Shlok jests that he will enjoy being free of her troubles. However, with Mahadev’s approval, she prepares to leave, and Shlok shows his true feelings of discontent.
Confused by Shlok’s attitude, Apollena wonders why he isn’t celebrating her news of leaving. He feigns happiness as Varun visits him, while Vaishali drops by to see Apollena. The friends share light-hearted teasing about their supportive partners.
The following day, Mahadev instructs Saraswati to send Apollena to her maternal house with Shlok, expressing concern about her going alone. Apollena wakes Shlok, but he refuses, claiming he cannot face her father. After some pleading, Shlok reluctantly agrees to accompany her, but Saraswati intervenes, hurting her hand intentionally to stop him. Apollena rushes to help her, but Saraswati insists she finish the rituals, warning that Mahadev will scold her if she doesn’t. Supporting his mother, Shlok encourages Apollena, but she remains worried and repeatedly calls him, only for Saraswati to cut the conversations short.
The episode ends.
