The episode begins with Deepika leaving, and Chirag tells Chandni that she will see her mother again later. He expresses his desire for the principal to ensure no child faces discrimination. As he fills out a form, he asks Chandni for her father’s name. Chandni admits she doesn’t know her father and has never met him, inquiring if Chirag knows him. Chirag admits he hasn’t met him either but reassures her that her father will meet her soon. He gathers information from Baldev, and Omkar informs Chirag that he knows details about Chandni since he met her mother.
Omkar tells Chandni that her Dadi aunty has invited her to a puja at their house. Upon seeing her gift, Baldev warns Omkar that Deepika might not allow her to go. Omkar advises Baldev to inform Deepika that Chandu’s grandparents have invited her.
Deepika firmly tells Chandni that she can’t go, but Chandni insists she won’t eat until she is given permission to attend. Deepika confesses to Baldev that she wants Chandni to have the opportunity to meet her family but fears Mishka. Baldev reassures Deepika that nothing will happen to Chandni, promising that if anything goes wrong, Mishka will be exposed. He encourages her to let Chandni go and leave the rest to Omkar. Deepika tells Chandni to eat and rest since she needs to wake up early for the puja at Mittal’s house, assuring her that everyone will love her.
Meanwhile, Ragini is getting ready under Neelima’s guidance, who reminds her that she is special. This draws jealousy from Janvi. Omkar and Chirag arrive to take Chandni to the puja, and Chirag beams with happiness at seeing her. Baldev informs Omkar that Deepika has sent her homemade prashad, and Omkar thanks Deepika for allowing Chandni to attend. He invites Baldev to join the puja, but Baldev opts to let Omkar spend time with Chandni and volunteers to pick her up afterward.
As Chirag prepares to take his first step with Chandni, Omkar intervenes, insisting that they first give Chandni an aarti. Mishka plots, believing that after Chandni makes her first step, Deepika will follow suit.
Janvi tells Ragini that although she used to think of herself as “Laxmi,” now another Laxmi has arrived, sparking her jealousy. Chandni greets everyone as Omkar beams with pride at both of his granddaughters. Lavanya is overjoyed to see her granddaughter and kisses Chandni’s footprint, embracing both Chandni and Ragini. She tells Omkar that they will perform the puja together, but Mishka fears Lavanya might discover the truth. Seeing Chandni receive more attention ignites Ragini’s jealousy, which Janvi exploits, pointing out that Chandni is stealing the spotlight.
Lavanya takes Chandni on a tour of the house while Janvi questions Mishka about what’s happening, hinting that she knows something is up.
Meanwhile, Deepika anxiously waits for Chandni and contemplates calling her, but Chitra stops her, having learned from Baldev that she has an appointment with the doctor and can begin her treatment today.
Chandni is playing with Lavanya in her room when Lavanya goes to get her phone for videos. While playing, Chandni throws a pillow at Janvi, prompting an angry response. Janvi accuses Chandni of being a thief, and in retaliation, Chandni jokingly calls her “mirchi pakoda.” Janvi threatens to slap her, but Lavanya intervenes, scolding Janvi for her behavior.
Janvi then claims that Chandni attempted to steal her belongings, which Lavanya disputes. Janvi tries to play the pregnancy card while defending her actions but Lavanya retaliates by telling Janvi she doesn’t care if Chandni breaks anything and warns her to stay away from her.
