The episode opens with Reet eagerly asking Raghav and Unnati how they feel about the surprise she has arranged for them, reminiscing fondly about her childhood.
Memories of his mother flood Raghav’s mind, leading to a sudden outburst as he begins to smash items in the room. He confronts Reet, questioning how she could come into his life and bring back painful memories. Raghav accuses her of using his past as a weapon against him, to which Reet responds with confusion, asking why she would do such a thing. Raghav asserts that it’s because she is upset about their forced marriage. He declares that he will reveal all his old wounds to her, knowing she will use them to hurt him even more. He shares the painful truth that his mother is still alive but chose to leave him and Unnati on Makar Sankranti for their sake. He then challenges Reet to identify the person responsible for this hurt.
Just then, Sharda intervenes, urging Raghav not to rehash his old wounds and reminding him to let go of the past. After Raghav storms out, Reet follows, but Unnati stops her, expressing her frustration towards Reet for reopening old scars. Reet insists she was unaware of their history. Unnati chastises her for consistently misunderstanding their situation. Suman defends Reet, but Reet encourages Unnati to speak her mind, recognizing her fault. Reet apologizes but emphasizes that Unnati should be with Raghav and steps aside, leaving everyone else to follow.
Sharda remarks how the clutter in the room triggered such an emotional explosion from Raghav, to which Viren commends her insight.
Meanwhile, an intoxicated Raghav is lost in thoughts of his mother when he encounters a small boy crying. When Raghav asks the boy what’s wrong, the child explains that his mother left him and that he’s hungry. Raghav, reflecting on motherhood, comforts the boy by providing him with some snacks. Reet witnesses this tender moment just as the boy’s mother arrives to take him away.
At the Suryavanshi mansion, Dhruv asks Unnati what’s troubling her. Unnati expresses her dismay over Reet’s actions and the pain it has reignited for their family. Confused, Dhruv questions why Reet would do such a thing.
Reet returns home with Raghav, who is still intoxicated, and helps him get settled.
Viren suggests they celebrate the rift that has developed between Raghav and Reet’s marriage, but Sharda insists she won’t celebrate until Raghav has thrown Reet out.
As Raghav rests, Reet goes to prepare food for him. Dhruv brings Unnati to the mansion to be with her brother, and when Unnati sees Raghav asleep, her emotions overcome her.
Reet embraces Dhruv upon seeing him, but he admonishes her for hurting both Unnati and Raghav with her surprise, insisting she should have understood the complexities of their situation first. Dhruv decides to wait for Unnati in the car and leaves.
Sharda comforts Unnati, who is distressed over Raghav’s state. Unnati asks if her brother will be alright, and Sharda reassures her that she is there for him. Unnati confides that she plans to sever the bond between Dhruv and Reet, and Sharda warns her to be cautious. Unnati nods in agreement and departs.
Later, Sharda tries to feed Raghav after waking him, and although Reet offers to help, Sharda declines her assistance. Once Raghav is fed, Sharda helps him settle back to sleep peacefully.
The next morning, Raghav awakens to find Reet holding his hand, signaling a new beginning amidst their turmoil.
The episode concludes on this poignant note.
