Jhanak 17th March 2026 : Conflic, Love & Unresolved Emotions!

The episode begins with a heated confrontation between Jhanak and Rishi. Jhanak expresses her hurt, telling Rishi that if their marriage had been valuable to him, he wouldn’t have forgotten her. She firmly asks him to leave, making it clear that she feels abandoned. Rishi, visibly distressed, pleads with her, saying, “How can I leave when you are my life?” Veer, attempting to mediate, tells Rishi to respect Jhanak’s wishes since she has returned to her village and suggests that he should focus on his current wife, Aditi.

Rishi’s response is firm: “Aditi is not my wife; I divorced her. Jhanak is my wife.” Parashar, Jhanak’s father, interjects, reminding Rishi that while they know Jhanak is his wife, the world does not recognize their marriage. Sakhi, a family friend, proposes that Rishi should prove that Jhanak is his wife and a daughter-in-law to his family before they can consider sending her back with him. Rishi, determined, declares that he is ready to shout to the villagers that Jhanak is his wife. However, Sakhi warns him that he might forget Jhanak again, to which Rishi responds defensively, questioning what fault he holds for losing his memories.

Mangal, another family member, points out that Rishi remembers everyone except Jhanak, highlighting the core issue. Sakhi insists that Rishi must complete the remaining rituals with his family before he can take Jhanak with him. Parashar emphasizes that his daughter is not a toy to be played with, suggesting that Rishi’s family should come to Simulboni and formally request to take Jhanak home. Rishi, resolute, vows that he will not allow anyone to separate him from his wife and insists on bringing his family to honor Jhanak.

Jhanak, moved by Rishi’s words, feels a mix of emotions. She thinks to herself that Rishi must be tired and realizes no one has told him to eat. Understanding that Rishi still holds feelings for her, she contemplates his departure and hugs Parashar tightly, tears streaming down her face.

Later, Jhanak confides in Parashar, questioning what is wrong with her actions and why Rishi seems to remember Aditi but not her. She wonders if she has the right to be angry at Rishi. Parashar reassures her that her feelings are valid. Jhanak expresses concern for Nutan’s pain, prompting Parashar to remind her not to dwell on the past. She then asks Parashar for a young photo of Nutan.

Parashar retrieves a box containing Nutan’s youthful photograph, and Jhanak becomes emotional upon seeing it. She reminisces about how Aniruddh accepted her wholeheartedly and reflects on her feelings of regret for rejecting him. Jhanak affirms to Parashar that no one can take his place in her heart, acknowledging his unwavering support for her and Nutan during their most challenging times. They share a heartfelt hug, solidifying their bond.

Meanwhile, back at home, Dadabhai questions why Rishi did not inform them before leaving. Indumati expresses her worry, while Neelu suggests that Rishi should have taken Aditi with him. Rishi explains that he met Jhanak, but she refused to return with him. Tanushri adds that Aditi has cared for Rishi during his recovery, yet he chose to seek out Jhanak. Rishi insists that Jhanak will not return until his family goes to Simulboni to complete the remaining post-marriage rituals. He asks for their support in this endeavor.

Abhimanyu acknowledges their previous mistakes and agrees to accept Parashar’s conditions. Rishi, however, is focused solely on bringing Jhanak back. Tanushri, concerned, asks if Rishi has regained all his memories. Rishi reassures her that he remembers everything and insists that Jhanak should not have to prove herself to him. He implores Tanushri to accept Jhanak for his sake, and she agrees, stating that his happiness is her happiness, even though she believes Jhanak is not the right match for Rishi. Putul expresses her excitement about the upcoming ceremonies in Simulboni.

Aditi arrives unexpectedly, prompting Rishi to question her presence, given their divorce. He offers her compensation but insists she must free him from their marriage. Aditi counters that she is still his wife and expresses her genuine care for him. Dadabhai interjects, affirming that Rishi is married to Jhanak and will not leave her. Abhimanyu urges Aditi to step back, while Rishi insists that there is no relationship left between them. He accuses Aditi of manipulating him during his memory loss and firmly tells her to leave.

Aditi, defiant, claims that Jhanak cannot love Rishi as she does, and she curses Jhanak, asserting that she will not keep Rishi happy. She storms out, leaving tension in the air.

In Simulboni, Aniruddh, Dritimaan, and Sanjhbati arrive at Parashar’s house. Jhanak runs to Sanjhbati, hugging her tightly and crying. Sanjhbati, concerned, asks why Jhanak is upset and whether Rishi has come to see her.
