Jhanak 1st October 2025 : Jhanak Shuts Down Arshi!

The episode begins with Putul expressing her strong disapproval of Jhanak’s decision to go to Aniruddh’s house. She believes that if Jhanak had sought help from her father, he would have supported her in her studies. Jhanak, however, reassures Putul not to worry about her. She states that while she intends to meet Aniruddh and the others, she has made up her mind not to return to their house. Putul, concerned for her friend, insists that Jhanak is failing to recognize who truly cares for her well-being. She acknowledges that Jhanak is hurt by Aniruddh’s rejection, but Jhanak firmly responds that she does not want a father like Aniruddh. Instead, she emphasizes that Parashar is her true father, a good man who has showered her with love despite not being her biological parent.

Putul expresses that she is not misunderstanding Jhanak’s feelings, but she urges Jhanak not to meet Dadabhai before leaving, fearing he may not be able to handle the emotional weight of the situation. She presses Jhanak to articulate her reasons for leaving. Just then, Dadabhai enters the scene and advises Putul not to question Jhanak today, as she may not have the answers they seek. Jhanak confronts him, asking why he is acting this way. She explains that although she wants to stay, she feels compelled to leave due to the ongoing tensions in the household. Despite her attempts to clarify her intentions to Aditi, she feels that Aditi is unwilling to trust her, making it impossible for her to find happiness amidst the daily drama that seems to revolve around her. With a heavy heart, she tells them how much she will miss them.

Dadabhai questions why Jhanak believes he cannot handle the issues between Aditi and Rishi. Jhanak, feeling despondent, responds that everyone seems to harbor resentment towards her. Putul interjects, reminding Jhanak that she is thinking of everyone’s feelings except for Dadabhai’s. Jhanak acknowledges their pain but insists that her departure is necessary for the sake of everyone’s peace. Hearing the sound of a car horn from outside, she knows it’s time to leave. Dadabhai tells Putul not to stop Jhanak, and Mishti chimes in, reminding them that Jhanak has forgotten to take her books.

Later, Arshi drives Jhanak to her house, explaining to Anjana that Jhanak will be staying there until her exams are over. She instructs the servant, Suraj, to show Jhanak to the outhouse. Anjana expresses concern about Jhanak staying alone in the outhouse, especially since there are boys living nearby. Jhanak confidently asserts that she can protect herself, revealing a billhook machete from her bag as her means of defense. Arshi is taken aback by Jhanak’s behavior, comparing her to a goon, but Anjana supports Jhanak’s decision to feel safe.

Arshi reprimands Anjana for defending Jhanak, stating that living in the city means Jhanak cannot carry such a weapon. Jhanak counters that she needs the machete to fend off potential dangers. Arshi retorts that danger is unlikely since everyone is busy with their jobs and that Jhanak should not assume that boys will be pursuing her. Jhanak responds that while she may not have money, she is aware of the challenges she will face on her journey.

Arshi urges Jhanak to stop speaking in such a manner, while Anjana suggests that Jhanak can stay in the guest room under her supervision. Arshi, however, reminds her that maids typically do not stay at their house, but she concedes that this time it might be an exception. Jhanak insists that she does not want to live off free food and is willing to work for her stay, questioning why Arshi didn’t mention this at Rishi’s house. Arshi dismisses Jhanak’s comments as nonsense and threatens to report her behavior to Aniruddh.

In response, Jhanak boldly states that she could have tarnished Aniruddh’s reputation if she had chosen to reveal the truth earlier, but Nutan raised her with better values. She declares that she will not waste her breath discussing Aniruddh since he does not merit her attention. Jhanak challenges their double standards and demands to know where her room is. Arshi reminds her that, at the end of the day, Jhanak is just a maid, instructing her to handle all the decorations for an event planned for the next day. Jhanak agrees to do the work, confident in her ability to contribute, and heads inside, while Arshi silently vows to keep a close watch on her.

The following day, Rishi and Aditi prepare to head to Aniruddh’s house. Putul hands Jhanak’s books to Rishi, prompting Tanushri to comment that Jhanak should have remembered to take them herself. Aditi uses this moment to mock Putul for her perceived lack of responsibility. Rishi suggests that Putul should consider pursuing a career in singing, but Aditi counters that achieving fame in the music industry is not an easy feat. Putul, feeling defensive, asks Aditi not to concern herself with her choices. Indumati urges Putul to let the matter rest, while Tanushri advises her to act more like an elder.

Putul questions why she should constantly think of others, expressing pride in Jhanak for her maturity. She then retreats inside, leaving Aditi to ask Indumati whether Putul plans to stay indefinitely. Aditi complains that Putul harbors resentment, always quarreling with her. Rishi suggests they should try to understand Putul’s perspective. Aditi then instructs Rishi to ask the servant to deliver the books to Jhanak, to which Rishi responds that he will take care of it himself.

In the precap, Aditi confronts Jhanak for applying vermilion on her forehead, setting the stage for further tensions to unfold in the storyline.
