The episode begins with Dritimaan inquiring about their plans for leaving for Simulboni. Tanushri suggests that it would be ideal for them to depart early the following morning, noting that they have already completed half of their shopping. Indumati interjects with a condition: she will not participate in the shopping trip if Dadabhai decides to join them. Dadabhai, however, quickly dismisses the idea, expressing his lack of interest in accompanying them.
At that moment, Rishi enters the scene, prompting Sanjhbati to ask him why he hasn’t prepared for the shopping outing. Rishi responds casually, saying he can always stitch his clothes later. Sanjhbati insists that he should come along with them today, and after a moment of hesitation, Rishi agrees to join the group.
Abhimanyu, noticing Rishi’s absence from the discussion, asks why he hasn’t been involved in this important conversation. Dadabhai humorously points out that the ladies are in charge today since the topic is shopping. Abhimanyu emphasizes the need to finish all their preparations today. Tanushri then proposes that they should eat at a restaurant after their shopping spree. Dadabhai counters her suggestion, stating that he cannot eat outside food. Mishti chimes in, expressing her desire for a treat to celebrate passing her medical exams. Dritimaan enthusiastically declares that the celebration will be on his behalf.
Sanjhbati turns her attention back to Rishi, asking if he has spoken to Jhanak. Rishi replies that he is not interested in having a conversation with her. Sanjhbati suggests that Jhanak would likely feel the same way. Indumati urges everyone to get moving, and Dritimaan suggests they can meet Jhanak tomorrow.
As Rishi reflects on the moments he shared with Jhanak, a smile crosses his face. They all prepare to leave for shopping, and Rishi thinks about how happy his family seems as they prepare to welcome Jhanak as their daughter-in-law. He feels confident that Jhanak will be pleased to see all the arrangements being made, and he hopes that soon they will be reunited, believing that no one will be able to separate them.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Bablu engages Aniruddh in a conversation about Jhanak’s upcoming marriage. Aniruddh expresses his desire for both of his daughters to be happy, but he feels that this seems impossible. Aditi, overhearing the conversation, assures them that she is fine and will not feel jealous or upset, so everyone else can remain happy. Anjana, however, criticizes Aditi for her immaturity and urges Aniruddh not to leave the house again. Aditi reminds Aniruddh of his promise to never leave and encourages him to go to Simulboni the next day.
Arshi then advises Aditi not to dwell in pain. Aditi tells her to relax, but Arshi expresses her fears, saying that no one understands the depth of her feelings. She emphasizes that she has only one daughter and urges Aditi not to make any rash decisions.
Aditi responds by stating that Rishi and Jhanak are legally bound together, so she cannot interfere. She insists that Aniruddh has certain responsibilities towards Jhanak, and he should attend her marriage. Aditi firmly tells Arshi not to think about separating Aniruddh and Jhanak and encourages both Anjana and Bablu to attend the wedding, hoping for everything to return to normal.
Aniruddh expresses pride in Aditi for her mature outlook. Arshi acknowledges Aditi’s pain, noting that she is hiding it for the sake of their happiness. Aditi insists that she doesn’t want sympathy and reassures them that she is doing well now. Aniruddh gives Aditi a comforting hug, and she suggests they go shopping together. She warns Arshi that if she does not accept Rishi and Jhanak’s marriage, she will leave the house with Aniruddh. Arshi retorts that Rishi cannot come to their house, but Aditi counters that Rishi is still considered the son-in-law, even if the bride has changed. She urges Arshi not to insult Rishi. Aniruddh blesses Aditi, while Arshi contemplates that the events of the next day will be unforgettable, and she believes Jhanak will definitely be separated from Aniruddh.
Later, Aditi encourages Aniruddh to select a saree for Jhanak. Aniruddh, in turn, suggests that Aditi choose a saree for herself as well. Aditi responds that she already has many sarees and is not interested in getting anything new at the moment.
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati tells Tanushri that they should prioritize selecting sarees for Jhanak first. Aditi overhears their conversation and spots Rishi with Dritimaan. Tanushri notices Aditi and Aniruddh and informs Indumati about their presence. Aniruddh observes Aditi watching Rishi, and Aditi recalls Rishi’s earlier words. She suggests to Aniruddh that they continue shopping.
Dritimaan proposes to Rishi that they should visit another shop, but Rishi points out that there are plenty of varieties available, so there shouldn’t be a problem. Sanjhbati informs Rishi that Aditi and Aniruddh are nearby. Dritimaan greets Aniruddh, and Aditi asks if he would like to see the sarees they have shortlisted. Dritimaan responds, mentioning that Aditi’s choices must be good.
Indumati expresses that she is feeling uncomfortable, prompting Tanushri to suggest they leave as soon as possible. Abhimanyu tells Dadabhai that since Jhanak and Aditi are sisters, they cannot avoid Aditi. Dadabhai urges Rishi to finish his shopping quickly. Sanjhbati mentions that they have selected a Punjabi kurta for Rishi, but notes that Aniruddh would have likely chosen it as well.
Aditi arrives at that moment, showcasing the Punjabi kurta that Aniruddh picked out for Rishi. She asks Rishi if he likes it, to which Rishi agrees that they can buy it. Aditi explains that Aniruddh is purchasing it for his younger daughter’s groom, and therefore he has the right to choose it. She encourages Rishi to try it on before leaving.
Rishi follows Aditi, expressing his desire to talk to her. Aditi informs him that she needs to visit a few more shops and wishes him good luck before walking away.
The next day, Aniruddh tells Bablu and Anjana that they are welcome to join him if they wish. Anjana comments that since he is going, that should be sufficient. Arshi informs Aniruddh that she will announce Jhanak’s reception during the press meeting. Aniruddh admits that he is unsure how to react to that. Arshi reminds him that he is essentially buying Jhanak’s happiness at the expense of Aditi’s tears, and that Aditi does not deserve such treatment.
Anjana interjects, requesting that they refrain from discussing this on that day. Aditi enters the room, prompting Anjana to inform Aniruddh that Aditi has packed everything. Aditi encourages Aniruddh to enjoy the day, while Aniruddh tells Arshi that there is no need for a press meeting and leaves the conversation. Arshi reflects that Aniruddh may struggle to handle the repercussions of the articles that will follow.
In the upcoming scenes, Mangal informs Aniruddh that there has been an accident on the highway. Aniruddh, concerned, asks whose accident it was. Mangal reveals that villagers reported it was a wedding procession, and tragically, the groom died on the spot. Jhanak, overhearing this news, becomes frightened.
