He emphasizes the importance of attending Nutan’s Shradh, a ceremonial remembrance for the deceased, which holds significant emotional value for both of them. He suggests that after her exams, she should come back to Kolkata. Jhanak, appearing contemplative, responds that she intends to go with the flow, perhaps indicating her uncertainty about her future.
Rishi, sensing her hesitance, insists that attending the Shradh is what Nutan would have wanted.
