Kanwar Dhillon, currently captivating audiences in Rahul Tewary’s Udne Ki Aasha, is a seasoned industry pro who doesn’t let TRP charts define his success or his mindset. With over a decade in television, he’s seen it all – the highs and the lows – but for him, the craft always comes first.
“After being in the industry for 13 to 14 years and having done a variety of shows, I’ve seen both highs and lows,” Kanwar shares. “But to have a show rest on your shoulders and perform well is a different feeling altogether. That said, being number one has never been the main goal. I’ve conditioned myself to handle both success and failure in the same way. If a show does well, that’s fantastic. But I don’t feel disappointed if it’s second or third. It’s all part of healthy competition, and that’s meant to happen.”
He emphasizes the team’s focus on quality over rankings: “There’s always pressure on the entire team to deliver every week, but we don’t stress constantly about being on top. That tension never arises because we’re confident about our content. There’s a reason why the show is working — it connects on a different level altogether. I do my job as an actor, and the rest is destiny and what the audience gives back.”

I posted that story because people on social media keep speculating, time and again, that we’re no longer together, constantly scrutinizing our relationship, and fueling unwanted gossip — something neither of us likes to entertain. So, I felt it was important to shut down the rumors and put an end to this never-ending saga.”
