The episode opens with Ishana rushing into the house, her face flushed with emotion as she excitedly tells Kusum about a chaotic incident that occurred at her college. Her mother, Mangal, had come to give a guest lecture, and things took a wild turn. Kusum, sensing Ishana’s agitation, urges her to calm down and explain what happened in detail. Just then, Shubhi and Mangal enter the scene, adding to the commotion.
Shubhi recounts that some mischievous students had locked Mangal in the arts room, which led to the unexpected chaos. Gayatri, intrigued, asks Ishana about the “tamasha” she mentioned earlier. Ishana, frustrated, states that the explanations given by Mangal and Shubhi are accurate and storms off angrily to her room.
Once in her room, Ishana seeks solace in music, a habit she has developed whenever she feels upset. Meanwhile, Gayatri raises a concern about Ishana’s behavior, noting that something seems off. Shubhi chimes in, explaining that Ishana is upset because Mangal didn’t inform her about being a guest lecturer at the college. Shubhi believes that once Ishana eats the kheer prepared by Mangal, she will feel better. Mangal, overhearing this, decides to make the kheer herself to help mend the situation.
In another part of the house, Aarav is having a conversation with his friend, who has taken rent from him. Aarav is confused and frustrated, asking why his friend would take money from his mother. His friend explains that Aarav’s mother is his “badi mom” and since Aarav failed to pay his rent, he took the advance rent she had given for a year. Aarav insists that he doesn’t want anything from her and demands that his friend return the money. However, his friend refuses, leaving Aarav feeling disheartened. He vacates the room, pondering what issues he has with his mother.
Back in the kitchen, Mangal expresses her gratitude to Shubhi for bringing Jairaj’s father to the police station and handling matters both there and at home. Shubhi informs Mangal that the kheer is ready and suggests they give it to Ishana. Mangal, however, doubts that Ishana’s anger will subside quickly. Shubhi reassures her, stating that Ishana loves Mangal deeply and proudly stood up for her at college, even calling her “mother.” She is confident that once Ishana eats the kheer, she will approach Mangal to talk things over.
Suddenly, Vishal video-calls Ishana, and during their conversation, he reveals that he has been suspended from college. Ishana reminds him that it was his mistake to lock her mother in the room, and Vishal, along with his friend, starts to insult Mangal, calling her a criminal. Upset, Ishana defends her mother, stating that Mangal has returned home. Vishal accuses Mangal of bribing the police and abruptly cuts the call, leaving Ishana feeling even more frustrated.
Shubhi enters with the kheer and tries to feed Ishana, but upon realizing that it was made by Mangal, Ishana’s anger boils over. In a fit of rage, she breaks the bowl and declares her hatred for Mangal, who watches helplessly from the doorway. Later, in an attempt to lighten the mood, Shubhi plays music and encourages Ishana to dance with her. Mangal feels a flicker of hope as she sees Ishana starting to enjoy herself again.
Meanwhile, Jairaj is outside playing cricket but gets out during the game. Mangal, determined to move forward, rushes to her office to conduct interviews for new job positions. As Jairaj observes a female worker still at the office, he expresses his disdain for women workers, questioning why she hasn’t left yet. Just then, Yashvardhan arrives and Jairaj accuses him of sending him to the police station. Yashvardhan, however, defends himself, stating that he actually saved Jairaj because he saw honesty in Mangal’s eyes.
In a twist of fate, Aarav arrives at Mangal’s office for an internship interview. He is surprised to learn that it is her office and apologizes for not helping her earlier at college. Mangal, having reviewed his resume, informs him that he got the job. Aarav requests to join in two days, explaining that he is currently looking for accommodation. Mangal, wanting to help, mentions that she knows a place and offers to take him to her home.
Back at home, Ishana is puzzled about why her mother has brought Aarav home. Kusum expresses her concern to Mangal, stating that it is inappropriate for Aarav to stay there with two grown daughters in the house. Mangal reassures her that Aarav is a good person and insists on helping him.
Neel supports Mangal’s decision, while Gayatri remains skeptical, believing it’s not a good idea. Aarav, feeling uncomfortable with the arrangement, tells Mangal that he doesn’t want to disturb the family and will look for another place. Mangal, watching him leave, feels helpless but then stops him, ultimately allowing him to stay.
In the precap, tension builds as Mangal senses Jairaj lurking behind her. He taunts her, saying it looks like she has just come out of the kitchen, and warns her not to go against him. He threatens that within two days, he will destroy Pehla Swaad, Mangal’s restaurant. Mangal, standing her ground, firmly replies that she will not tolerate anyone messing with Pehla Swaad and challenges him, declaring that they will see who ends up ruined in the end.
