The teaser kicks off with a grand, powerful entrance from Tae San (Ma Dong Seok), the formidable leader of these celestial guardians. We learn that since the dawn of time, these 12 angels have walked among humans, silently safeguarding our world. Long ago, they fought a brutal war against evil that threatened to plunge everything into darkness. They managed to barely seal the terrifying Gates of Hell (the very source of this darkness), but at a terrible cost: they lost four of their own, and their incredible powers were sealed away.
Wounded by the immense loss of their comrades, Tae San and the seven remaining angels – Won Seung (Seo In Guk), Mir (Lee Joo Bin), Doni (Ko Kyu Pil), Kang Ji (Kang Mi Na), Jwi Dol (Sung Yoo Bin), Mal Suk (Ahn Ji Hye), and Bang Ul (Regina Lei) – have been living quietly, trying to blend in.
Hell on Earth? A New Evil Rises!
But peace is a fragile thing. When Priest Sa Min (Kim Chan Hyeong) awakens O Gwi (Park Hyung Sik), a being of immense, terrifying power, darkness begins to creep across the world once again. Priest Sa Min chillingly reveals his malevolent intentions: “I will now turn the world into hell and transform all humans into demons.”
Tae San, who had vowed never to interfere in human affairs again, along with the other angels whose powers remain sealed, begin to doubt if they can truly face O Gwi. Their powers are gone, their numbers diminished. However, Marok (Sung Dong Il), the wise overseer of the 12 angels, steps in to ignite their resolve. He delivers a powerful reminder: “The reason we exist is to help humans.”
