SBS just dropped the first teaser for “No Tail to Tell,” and it looks like the chaotic, supernatural rom-com we didn’t know we needed to kick off 2026.
Meet the Gumiho Who Swiped Left on Humanity
The legendary Kim Hye Yoon stars as Eun Ho, a Gen Z gumiho who has officially broken the mold. While her ancestors were out here tricking scholars and eating livers, Eun Ho is living her best life. In the sneak peek, she tells us, “Living as a gumiho—there’s no time to be bored.”

Enter Lomon as Kang Si Yeol, a world-class soccer player who is currently high on talent but low on funds. Calling himself a “broke genius,” Si Yeol is juggling grueling soccer drills with part-time shifts, fueled by the delusional (but charming) confidence that he’s just a few years away from global superstardom.
The “meet-cute” is less “falling into his arms” and more “getting a soccer ball to the face.” When Si Yeol crosses paths with Eun Ho, she isn’t exactly smitten. In fact, she humbles him immediately, dismissing the future star as mere “Human 1.” According to her, she’s seen the future, and he’s just a background character in her immortal sitcom.
The Cosmic Plot Twist
Of course, it wouldn’t be a K-Drama without a “mysterious accident” to ruin a perfectly good afternoon of rock climbing. Following a strange event, Eun Ho gets a chilling cosmic warning: “Your scale is tipping.” The universe is essentially trying to force her into a human skin suit, but Eun Ho isn’t going down without a fight.
