The upcoming Star Plus drama Seher Hone Ko Hai has already started creating buzz with its intriguing storyline and powerful performances. One of the most talked‑about characters is Nazima, played by actress Nidhi Gangta, who has quickly become a pivotal figure in the show’s twists and turns. Initially introduced opposite Parth Samthaan’s Mahid, Nazima’s journey took a dramatic turn when her love was refused, pushing her character into a grey shade that promises to stir up plenty of drama.
In a candid conversation with Times of India TV, Nidhi opened up about her on‑screen chemistry with Parth and the challenges of portraying Nazima’s layered emotions.
Nidhi on Working with Parth Samthaan
Speaking about her co‑star, Nidhi shared, “He is good. As a co‑actor, he is very good. He plays this, what should I say, strict, closed personality.” Despite Mahid’s reserved nature, Nidhi revealed that Parth’s professionalism and supportive attitude made their scenes together impactful and memorable.
Their First Intense Scene Together
Recalling her very first scene with Parth, Nidhi described it as one of the most intense moments of her career. “I remember my first scene with him was so intense. Where I am just proposing and telling him my feelings. It was that scene. I had to shake him up and he was crying and all that. I was like, how do I do this? It was intimidating a little bit. But then when we rehearsed, he came out to be a very different person. He was like, chill, chill, do it nicely, we will do it. It was good. So in that scene, he broke the ice.”
She further explained how the scene required her to physically hold him, even by his ears, while expressing Nazima’s frustration and heartbreak. “It’s like I am cursing him because it will be the same if you don’t get love like this. It was that intense scene.”
Nazima’s Grey Role and Upcoming Twists
Nidhi also shed light on how Nazima’s character will bring major twists to the storyline. With Seher’s marriage about to take place in the family, Nazima’s motives will add layers of conflict. “Seher is about to get married in our family. Once she gets married, I am there to create problems in her life. That is basically my main motive to get her away from us. That is how I will create all the turmoil, twists, everything in their life. Everything that is possible to get my love back.”
Her portrayal of Nazima promises to be one of the key drivers of drama in the show, as viewers eagerly wait to see how her actions will impact Seher and Mahid’s lives.
