“The Divorce Insurance” is an upcoming romantic comedy featuring Lee Dong Wook as Noh Ki Jun, an insurance actuary working in the innovative product development team at Plus Insurance. After enduring three divorces himself, Noh Ki Jun is inspired to create “divorce insurance” plans, viewing divorce as an unexpected calamity that needs protection.
Despite appearing to have it all, Noh Ki Jun’s multiple divorces have profoundly altered his view on marriage. Determined to develop a safety net for others, he embarks on a mission to introduce this unique insurance product.
Joining him is Kang Han Deul (Lee Joo Bin), an underwriter who is eager to embrace a new beginning following her own divorce. With her quirky yet cheerful personality, she finds the confidence to move forward, evolving her relationship with Noh Ki Jun as they collaborate on the project.
Ahn Jeon Man (Lee Kwang Soo), a risk surveyor who prioritizes safety but harbors a timid nature, joins the divorce insurance team. This role challenges his comfort zone, leading him on an unforgettable adventure alongside his teammates.
Jeon Na Rae (Lee Da Hee), a financial mathematician who approaches life strictly from an investment perspective, joins the team as a special quantitative advisor.
