Heroes ‘Unmasked’: Kim Hye Soo, Jung Sung Il, Joo Jong Hyuk Take on the Villains!
Disney+ has revealed both the official poster and trailer for its upcoming original series, Unmasked.
Unmasked follows dedicated investigative journalists who confront wrongdoers directly, wielding a camera and asking the tough questions.
The primary poster features the Trigger team gearing up for action after receiving an anonymous tip-off. At the forefront is Oh So Ryong (Kim Hye Soo), the assertive team leader notorious for confronting villains up close. She is joined by rookie Han Do (Jung Sung Il), a parachutist finding his bearings, and Kang Gi Ho (Joo Jong Hyuk), an upbeat assistant director overflowing with enthusiasm.
The trailer highlights the lively and unique traits of the Trigger team. Oh So Ryongâs boldness stands out as she boldly challenges criminals, even in perilous situations like taking on a menacing cult, showcasing her dedication as their leader.
Meanwhile, Han Do, a brash rookie who’s found himself with the Trigger team, raises eyebrows with his fearless demeanor. After misplacing crucial evidence, he dismissively states, âI lost it,â epitomizing his audacity. Moreover, Kang Gi Hoâs jealous quip, âHim or me?â when Han Do catches Oh So Ryongâs attention injects humor into the mix, hinting at the teamâs unpredictable dynamics and unexpected synergy.
On another note, the team’s unconventional investigative tacticsâsuch as paragliding into situations or getting escorted out by securityâare sure to captivate audiences.
Oh So Ryong asserts, âWe might not rake in the big bucks like scripted series, but weâre the most reliable show on TV. Weâre Trigger,â underscoring her showâs trustworthiness.
Furthermore, her reply to the inquiry, âDo you really believe they can shift the world’s dynamics?â â âIt will change. One skill I developed as a producer is swaying public perceptionâ â emphasizes the Trigger teamâs genuine commitment to unveiling the truth.
Unmasked is set to debut exclusively on Disney+ on January 15, 2025, featuring a total of 12 episodes with a schedule of two episodes each week. Check out the teaser
