The episode opens with Nawab and Heer arriving at a dinner venue, where Nawab playfully asks Heer how she plans to describe her first date to her friend. In a lighthearted manner, Nawab pretends to be Pammi, and Heer responds enthusiastically, telling him that her date is going exceptionally well. She expresses her pride in Nawab for all the hard work he has been putting in, and in a playful act, she mimics Buzzo, showcasing her affection for him. Nawab, feeling encouraged, shares that his date is indeed going wonderfully, and he appreciates how much Heer cares for him.
However, the atmosphere shifts when Gulab, who is present, becomes visibly angry. In her frustration, she drops a glass, hiding her face in embarrassment as she feels Nawab is being humiliated because of Heer’s presence. As the evening progresses, Nawab receives the bill and is taken aback by the exorbitant amount. Confused, he approaches the reception desk to inquire about the high charges. The manager explains that the rates have increased since January, leaving Nawab in a difficult position.
Just then, Gulab confronts Heer, further humiliating her in front of others. Nawab, realizing he doesn’t have enough cash, is told by the manager to use a credit card to settle the bill. Reluctant to go this route, Nawab feels trapped, especially as Gulab continues to insult Heer, suggesting that Nawab will have to rely on her credit card for payment. Heer firmly tells Gulab that this is unacceptable, asserting that Nawab is changing for the better. Gulab, however, dismisses her claims, insisting that her son will not change and criticizing Heer for not having taught him better.
Gulab decides to accompany Heer to witness how Nawab handles the bill payment. As Nawab pulls out his credit card, Heer recalls that he had previously mentioned wanting to take her out on a date using his first paycheck. Gulab seizes the moment to remind Heer that Nawab comes from a wealthy family, implying that he is not poor and will carry on the Brar family legacy.
Determined to take control of the situation, Heer stops Nawab from using the credit card and offers to pay the bill herself. She even suggests that she is willing to wash the dishes if necessary, insisting that she will not let Nawab feel embarrassed by having to pay the bill. As she washes the utensils, she reflects on Gulab’s words, realizing there may be some truth in them. Nawab approaches Heer and explains that he was considering using the card to avoid disappointing her; he expresses his desire to bring her happiness but feels he has failed. He apologizes to her for not being a good husband.
Heer suggests they split the bill, and together they manage to pay it, including a tip. Afterward, Heer takes back the credit card and returns it to Gulab, telling her to verify that Nawab hasn’t used it. This leaves Heer feeling confused about the coincidences surrounding their situation. She confronts Gulab about her attempts to humiliate her son, arguing that Gulab is damaging Nawab’s character just to prove her points. Heer insists that she does not want Nawab to be dependent on anyone, especially not on Gulab’s control.
Gulab, in response, shows Heer the guests dining around them, claiming that Heer is lowering Nawab’s status and does not truly care for him. Heer counters, asserting that she knows Nawab well and believes in his potential. Gulab warns Heer that Nawab has an important selection coming up in 15 days, suggesting that without recommendations, he won’t make the cut. Heer challenges Gulab, confidently stating that Nawab will succeed based on his hard work and determination, and he will stand on his own two feet.
Gulab accepts the challenge, claiming that Nawab will only achieve success through her connections and that he will abandon Heer after 15 days. Hearing this, Nawab confronts Gulab, expressing his disappointment in her for speaking poorly about him. He becomes agitated, but Heer steps in to calm him down. Nawab tells Heer that he never expected his mother to think so negatively about him, and Heer reminds him that Gulab is just upset.
Nawab confesses that while his mother was once his foundation, he now feels like a failure. Gulab, realizing her son is hurting, rushes to comfort him. Meanwhile, Heer reassures Nawab that neither of his parents is wrong; they care about him and want him to succeed. She encourages him to remain focused on his cricket career and to remember how hardworking he is. Despite her encouragement, Nawab feels disheartened, but Heer urges him to forget the negativity and concentrate on his goals.
As the episode concludes, Gulab observes Heer’s support for Nawab, feeling threatened by the bond they are developing, which seems to be turning Nawab against her.
In the upcoming scenes, the competition intensifies, and Heer challenges Nawab, setting the stage for further developments in their relationship and Nawab’s journey.
